Reviewed in the United States on November 14, 2020 I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I have learned that there are 3 differed actuators. One is REALLY easy to install and the other two are a pain in the butt. It has nothing to do with this part - it is the location of where the part is located within the vehicle. The easy install is behind the glove box compartment, to the left. There is one behind the dash on the driver side and one behind the speaker on the passenger side - both of these sucked swapping out. The part itself has 3 holes for bolts (which should be in the vehicle already and reuse them with the new part) and a place to plug the pigtail into (which gets unplugged from the old part). Again, I have no issues with the part itself - it was just the install that was the challenge. My recirculation vent door actuator was making a clicking noise when functioning. Dealer wanted $188 plus tax just for the part. So I ordered this one. It fits, it works, but it makes a creaking noise when fully opening vent door. Better than the clicking sound but still annoying especially after all the work to install it (it's a hell of a job). Yes I can return it but I really don't want to go through all that work again to get it out. The first time was for the blend air door on the heater box for my Dodge Journey. Now the fresh air door/flap actuator had stopped working so I purchased this item again. It's been about 4 months since I installed it and it works flawlessly. Even though it's not an OEM part, it fits perfectly and is pretty much just plug and play. By the way, I replaced the first one over a year and a half ago and it still works perfectly.
