I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I have learned that there are 3 differed actuators. One is REALLY easy to install and the other two are a pain in the butt. It has nothing to do with this part - it is the location of where the part is located within the vehicle. The easy install is behind the glove box compartment, to the left. There is one behind the dash on the driver side and one behind the speaker on the passenger side - both of these sucked swapping out. The part itself has 3 holes for bolts (which should be in the vehicle already and reuse them with the new part) and a place to plug the pigtail into (which gets unplugged from the old part). Again, I have no issues with the part itself - it was just the install that was the challenge.

I had to YouTube what the sound meant on my car and this was the part I needed. Now I have to purchase another one for the other side. Had to take it to the shop to get it installed

I have a 2012 Chrysler 200 that started clicking constantly in my passenger side air vent if my ac was on. This product fixed that. Definitely cheaper than buying from anywhere else, price wise and probably quality wise, but overall I am happy with my purchase.

I put this part on the shelf and ordered and installed a new heater core, which was needed to put even (to both sides) heat back in my 2011 Dodge Journey.

2.0 out of 5 stars Much less than OEM part but makes a creaking noise

Reviewed in Canada on September 8, 2022

Installed on my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. My recirculation vent door actuator was making a clicking noise when functioning. Dealer wanted $188 plus tax just for the part. So I ordered this one. It fits, it works, but it makes a creaking noise when fully opening vent door. Better than the clicking sound but still annoying especially after all the work to install it (it's a hell of a job). Yes I can return it but I really don't want to go through all that work again to get it out. So I guess I just have to turn the music up

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good hvac actuator/stepper motor

Reviewed in Canada on November 6, 2021

This is the second time I've purchased this actuator motor. The first time was for the blend air door on the heater box for my Dodge Journey. Now the fresh air door/flap actuator had stopped working so I purchased this item again. It's been about 4 months since I installed it and it works flawlessly. Even though it's not an OEM part, it fits perfectly and is pretty much just plug and play. By the way, I replaced the first one over a year and a half ago and it still works perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Soluciono mi problema en Journey 2010

Reviewed in Mexico on September 15, 2022

3.0 out of 5 stars Puts stress on the blender door (FCA, Jeep)

Reviewed in Canada on September 18, 2022

To avoid stress on the blender door, Don't switch the cooling/heating to the max.
The OEM blender door actuator current is monitored by the engine computer, when the actuator reaches the limit of the blender door, the ECM retracts the motor slightly to remove stress on the blender door.
This motor has different specs, so the motor doesn't retract at the limits. but it still beats the $150 OEM parts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funciona para Jeep Compass 2013

Reviewed in Mexico on January 9, 2022
