I turn on the shower in the bath and gray water starts flowing. The drain in the tub was also clogged, so spoke with Amber at the front desk who offered me to move to another room, which I did and for the trouble she gave us free breakfast coupons. She also mentioned that the hotel did a recent overhaul on the water heater recently and they may have been the reason for the discolored water coming out of the shower. Very helpful and pleasant.

The young lady who checked my in was sensational. If I lived near Alexandria I'd be inclined to poach her. She typified what customer service should be. What a welcoming personality! Upon checkout (Sunday 6:00am) there was no one at the front desk and security averted his eyes when I was seeking assistance.

Clean, neat, basic. Good tv and comfortable bed. Had grain bowl salad at cafe downstairs. Delicious. Needed more toiletries and better shower set up. Room bit dark for person with limited sight.

We made a reservation for a king size room, holding that reservation with a credit card. When we checked in we were told there were no more king rooms and were given a room with two double beds . We expected them to honor the reservation we made through Expedia and they didn't.
