In pursuit of academic excellence, the brilliant nuclear scientist Dr. Otto Octavius is exposed to a freak laboratory accident, which grafts a set of highly advanced robotic arms to his back and nervous system. Intense radioactivity causes brain damage and slowly alters his mind, transforming the timid and respected Dr. Octavius into the criminally insane Doctor Octopus. Blaming Spider-Man for his misfortune, Doc Ock uses his bone-crushing titanium tentacles to seek revenge and build a sprawiling empire of crime.

About This Sixth Scale Figure

“Hello, Peter.” – Doc Ock

One of the most highly-anticipated returning villains in Spider-Man: No Way Home is none other than the iconic Doctor Octopus, a.k.a. Doc Ock, played by renowned actor Alfred Molina reprising his role from the early Spider-Man movies. Threatening to destroy the city with his generator, Doc Ock has now crossed universes through the interdimensional pathway to attack Spider-Man with his mechanical tentacles.

Receiving even greater popularity after the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sideshow and Hot Toys will officially introduce your favorite villain, now with nano-tech enhanced tentacles, the Doc Ock (Deluxe Version) Sixth Scale Collectible Figure from the Spider-Man collection.

Masterfully crafted based on Doc Ock’s appearance in the movie as portrayed by Alfred Molina, the sixth scale figure features a newly developed head sculpt with incredible likeness; perfectly tailored outfit highlighting authentic details on his belt and coat; bendable tentacles extended from his back with articulated claws, capturing his signature weapons and its mechanical design down to the smallest attention; a pair of goggles, a tentacle spear, and dynamic figure stand.

The Deluxe Version will exclusively include four additional nanotech tentacles interchangeable with the original ones to recreate the big fight scene between Peter Parker and Doc Ock in this universe.

Prepare to encounter this tentacled foe and start your Spider-Man collection today!

What did Dr Octopus make in Spider

The Fusion Reactor is a Tritium powered energy generator created by Dr. Otto Octavius.

Why did Dr Octopus arms turn red?

Specifically, Ock's glowing red arms signify that his mechanical arms are still controlling the version of Octavius we see in the No Way Home trailer. It's a callback to 2004's Spider-Man 2, which had Ock's arms glow red whenever they were in control of him and white whenever he was the one steering the ship.

Is Doctor Octopus alive in Spider

When last we saw him in 2004's "Spider-Man 2," he had managed to briefly regain cognitive control over his robotic arms. As his final act, he sacrificed himself to save the city, drowning his nuclear experiment and himself in the river.

How did Doctor Octopus become evil in Spider

After his mechanical harness became permanently fused to his body during a lab accident, he turned to a life of crime, and came into conflict with the superhero Spider-Man.
