The Judge Group is hiring 100+ ENTRY LEVEL REMOTE HCC CODERS for one of out top clients!

ENTRY LEVEL ONLY

EXTREMELY TIME SENSITIVE

Job Details:

HIRING ENTRY LEVEL ONLY – Must have no prior coding work experience
Can be CPC-A, CCA, or CCS; also hiring CPC or CRC coders if willing to take the same rate as new coders**
Must have active coder certification through AAPC or AHIMA
Type: Contract (ongoing/long term)
Fully remote; Must reside in the U.S.
Compensation: Entry Level pay
Coders must be willing to work 40 hours/week minimum; Training is set M-F 8AM-5PM Central Time for 4-8 weeks, after training coder will work 8 hour shift M-F between the hours of 8AM-8PM Central Time (can't break up the shift)
NO PART TIME CODERS
MUST BE ABLE TO HARDWIRE INTO THE MODEM
No time off allowed during training

Summary of Position:

The Medical Record Coder will code medical records in electronic formats using ICD-10-CM for charts in dates of service over a two-year range. Monitor regulatory changes as they apply to ICD-10-CM coding guidelines. Serve as a resource to Medicare Advantage Coding to ensure reimbursement accuracy. Perform ongoing analysis of charts for the appropriate coding compliance. Research and resolve assigned Coding projects.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Research and resolution of coding projects as assigned.

2. Perform ongoing analysis of medical record charts for the appropriate coding compliance.

3. Coder is responsible for meeting daily production goal.

4. Coder is responsible for meeting a quality accuracy rate goal.

5. Attend conference calls as necessary to provide information relating to Coding and Compliance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

ENTRY LEVEL – No prior HCC experience required
Can be CPC-A, CCA, CCS; also hiring CPC or CRC coders if willing to take the same rate as new coders**
Successful completion of a coding certificate program from the AAPC or AHIMA required
Coder must be able to provide proof of current certification and coding certification identification number through AAPC or AHIMA
High school diploma or equivalent required
