The best feature of this hotel is its location. It is in close proximity to eateries, the train and the San Diego Convention Center. I stayed in a two bed room for four days (the weekend of SDCC). The room cost $400 a night. Free WiFi was promised and prominently advertised. The WiFi did not work the last three days of my four day stay. When I called about the problem, the hotel staff told me they would reset it and then abruptly hung up. The WiFi continued to not work. The shower head in the bathroom leaked when on, resulting in the entire floor being completely soaked even when the shower curtains were pulled shut. Two small towels and two washcloths are provided for the room and all were used in the mopping up of the floor. The room became very humid and stuffy if the air conditioner was not constantly running. The television has maybe seven channels and three of them are static. Ended up unplugging the TV so I had a place to plug in my laptop. The room is extremely basic in nature. No microwave or fridge, no hairdryer, so on. There is however a very bright light outside the room right in front of the window. The light is on all night, which is fine, unless you are trying to sleep. The light is still very visible in the room even with the curtains pulled shut. I do not recommend this hotel. I found the staff generally unhelpful and vaguely unpleasant, the accommodations lackluster and the price extraneous. Find another hotel if you can. The connection from the hotel two buildings down is genuinely better. It's that bad. When I got there I told them I reserved with a card but I wanted to use another and they charged it anyway. The floor had a hole when you walked over it , and the front door handle was falling off. The guy who checked us in was nice enough to let us check in early and he had good manners but that’s about the only nice thing I would say about this experience. Please avoid.
