Bone in pork loin country style ribs

These Oven Baked Bone-in Country-Style Ribs are so delicious! I have to admit that this cut of pork is rather new to my kitchen. My blog has a recipe for Slow Cooker BBQ Country Style Ribs that my family loves and they’ve requested that I make this cut of meat more often. I especially love it for two reasons. The first being that it is one of the CHEAPEST cuts of meat in America. It’s economical for any family size or budget. The second being that it is the easiest cut of pork to cook producing the tenderest meat. Pork, especially pork chops or pork loin, can be tricky to cook because it dries out quickly. On the other hand, Country Style Pork Ribs cook slow, in a relatively short amount of time, within an hour or two. That being said give it a try! I really think you and your family are going to love this recipe!

CAN BONELESS COUNTRY-STYLE RIBS BE USED INSTEAD OF BONE-IN?

  • The answer is YES! The bone in the ribs do produce more flavor and are usually slightly cheaper than boneless. The advantage of boneless is the be able to shred the meat quickly if that is what you plan to do.
