I filed a claim two months ago and it has been like pulling teeth to get them to reimburse me for the repairs on my phone. I was told over two weeks ago that I should have a check within 7-10 business days and I still haven't received it. I have sent countless emails, called twice, and tried the online chat four times and the only response I get is "We'll send you an email within 1-2 business days" and I haven't gotten the first email. I tried again tonight and got the exact same response so we'll see but I'm starting to think that this is nothing but a big joke.

I was told a technician would be at my…

I was told a technician would be at my house today between 12 and five. I took the day off of work and called them mid day stating I had not heard from anybody. They said don’t worry a technician will be there by 5 PM. He never showed up at all. Nobody called. Nobody showed up.

The process was easy

Always get Insurance for high-cost electronics

The representative tried to help troubleshoot (again after talking to Roku rep and TCL rep) and finally honored the defective TV for refund. Took some time to get to a reasonable conclusion altho rep was polite and efficient and diligent.

So after sending my laptop back for the…

So after sending my laptop back for the second time. When the laptop was shipped back. I feel it should have been sent overnight as I have been without it for so long. Well it is now due to arrive Wednesday Nov. 9th and I will be leaving for Michigan Monday. So now I had to reroute laptop to my daughter. I really needed my laptop. I was told oh well at least I rerouted it. I had to pay 33$.

A-Tech was awful but your agent made it right

I was enraged that A-Tech, your preferred (1-star on Yelp) repair provider for the San Francisco Bay Area didn't show up as scheduled, then never returned countless calls to reschedule. However, your agent eventually provided me with a new TV replacement, so I'm satisfied.

I highly recommend you FIRE A-Tech and get a responsible service company.

Helpful representatives

Originally when we filed our claim we never received the email asking us what we would like to do. Either get a refund replacement etc. A few months later when I called to find out what was going on the representative was very helpful. Found we had everything we needed and within two days we had our refund. I was very pleased with the outcome.

They do not honor their contract

They deny their own written terms & conditions!
I bought their plan through AHS, the terms and conditions of my protection plan states clearly that it covers smartphones. However they systematically denied my claim for a smartphone repair. Also, their agents are so confusing! You do not get what you pay for, I feel like I am being ripped off.

The GOOD (a lot of it) and the Bad (just a little bit of it).

Filing a claim online was very easy. When I talked with them, they were all very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that I received an email with an appointment scheduled for a repair person to come a since it said "Appointment Confirmed" - that meant it was set. However, in talking with the company Allstate had referred me to for someone to fix my washer - I was told that that does not mean it had been scheduled, so I had to schedule one then. THEN, when that day came and went and I spoke with them (NOT Allstate - the company who was actually in charge of getting someone to fix it) they told me that I was on the schedule - just no repairman had been assigned to me. Came back from repair still not right

Came back from repair still not right. Sent in for a strange magnification problem when turning on camera. Had to turn off several times to rectify issue. Problem was still there as soon as I took it out of the box coming back from repair center. Not sure what they did, if anything at all to fix this issue.

Allstate helped me when I could not get in touch with Gateway, they did a great job and was going to help me when I could not get in touch with Gateway. I will never buy a Gateway laptop computer again, there tech support really sucks.

I'd give 0 stars if it was an option

I'd give 0 stars if it was an option. This will only cover the amount paid at original purchase, and that is only after you send them your receipt to two different departments!
Due to inflation, I am out 100+ dollars for a item I purchased not even 1 year ago that malfunctioned. I paid 32 dollars for the protection and it did absolutely NOTHING! If I purchased a car and protected it with insurance (which is what this product is advertised as when purchased) I would expect the company to estimate my product as it is valued at that time, not at the time of sale. This is the worst service I have ever had.
NOT ONLY IS THE PRODUCT A JOKE, SO IS THE SERVICE! I received an email saying my claim was in process and I would know something in 24-48 hours. I sent an email with my claim number, and got no response the first week. AFTER 3 FULL WEEKS, I emailed AGAIN and within 2 hours they responded. So I guess if I hadn't emailed them twice about my claim, I would have never heard back.

I'm usually not one to complain, but this product was a HUGE waist of money and time!

My Fitbit stopped working. I sent it in. They were very helpful by phone. Sent me a label. Quite quickly returned. But it wasn’t right. Called again. Very helpful. Sent it back. Fixed. Thank you.

My initial contact was not good!

My initial contact was not good!! I couldn't get answers about my plans and I felt like I was running in circles and getting nowhere!! I was contacted by Ms. Ivette and she was so amazing!! She was able to answer all of my questions and figure out the issue that I was having!! She is a valuable asset to your company!! I was at my wits end and she stepped in and listened to my concerns and didn't pass me on without helping!!
