The ideal candidate for our Urgent Care department at the Torrey Pines Clinic, will be someone who is adaptable and works well in a team oriented environment. Primary responsibilities will include both front and back office duties, point of care testing, EKGs, medication passes, and responding to medical emergencies. This position is Casual/Per Diem, working 12 hour Day shifts at Scripps Clinic – Torrey Pines and occasionally a night shift, working variable days of the week. All healthcare personnel are required to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated (and boosted once eligible) against COVID-19 or agree to receive the vaccination at the point of hire or submit a written request for an exception based on a medical reason, disability or sincerely-held religious belief, practice or observance with supporting documentation. Proof of vaccination and booster (if eligible) must be submitted at the pre-employment physical. All employees are required to be up-to-date with their scheduled COVID-19 vaccine dose (2nd dose or booster) within 2 weeks of becoming eligible for such dose to be considered compliant. Failure to submit proof of vaccine or booster dose or an approved exemption within that two week window will result in suspension without pay and/or termination for non-compliance. Manages staffing plans to ensure appropriate equipment and resources are available to staff to do their job. 2015 Manager, Clinical Care Line Assesses and improves the patient care process for the assigned population along the continuum of care, serving as an expert clinical resource for ensuring quality of care and customer satisfaction.
