Toyota mr2 rolling chassis for sale

I am selling a 1992 MR2 rolling shell. It is in fair overall condition. It is in good enough condition that all it really needs is engine, transmission, wheel hubs, and wiring and you could drive it. You can get a gen 3 3sgte rear clip for $3k right now from Foreign Engines in Lynnwood. That contains everything you need except for maybe the body harness (those go for about $150). That means a complete gen 3 3SGTE swapped MR2 with 250 horsepower can be yours for about $4k plus some elbow grease! This shell already has a Walbro 255 fuel pump installed ... this is probably the most PITA part of doing a swap and it is already done!

If you don't want to swap, you could always part out this car and probably get more money out of it. The tires have almost perfect tread so the wheel tire combo is probably worth a couple hundred. That fuel pump is worth some money. Plus all of the other miscellaneous parts (power steering hardware, body panels, interior pieces, glass, etc) are worth something too. I just want this car gone so I can work on my other car in the garage.

There are a few cons ... the wiring under the dash is pretty ugly. That being said, this car had a gen 3 3sgte in it that was running fine, so I know the wiring works. Also, there is some front end damage. It is bad enough to affect how the radiator is mounted, but the radiator is in good condition, and it doesn't affect the suspension geometry (as can be seen in the pictures). Also, this car needs some seat belt hardware (besides the seat belts themselves).

I still have everything needed for a swap (minus the clip and body harness) and everything that is needed is included!
