One major similarity between both the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Sport and Grand Touring trim levels comes in its powertrain. Each trim offers the SKYACTIV®-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which outputs up to 187 horsepower and 186 ft-lbs for torque. As for fuel economy, front-wheel drive models offer an estimated 28 Combined MPG apiece. Meanwhile, both models can be equipped with i-ACTIV® AWD capabilities with Off-Road Traction Assist. The feature provides added traction on rougher road conditions outside and around Carlsbad, Encinitas, and Escondido areas.

While the 2021 Mazda CX-5 comes in a wide variety of trim levels, both the base Sport and the mid-tier Grand Touring trim levels are equally capable of providing what you need in a crossover. To find select models, check out Bob Baker Mazda and our inventory online!

What is the difference between CX

While the 2021 Mazda CX-5 Sport trim adds a wide range of features, much of the Grand Touring trim level is upgraded. Even though the latter trim is a mid-tier upgrade, it adds key features such as the Power-Adjustable Moonroof as well as Heated Side Mirrors and a Bose® Sound System.

Which CX

Topping out the range are the CX-5 GT SP and Akera variants which feature the more powerful 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, good for 170kW and 420Nm pushed to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic.

Is Mazda CX

The Cherokee is one of the larger medium SUVs in the burgeoning segment, with about 80mm extra length over the CX-5. Unfortunately, that doesn't extend to more room inside the cabin. The second row of seats can be a cramped place to sit, especially if the occupants are even slightly taller than average.

What are the different levels of Mazda CX

Mazda CX-5 Trim Levels The 2021 Mazda CX-5 is sold in seven trim levels: Sport, Touring, Carbon Edition, Carbon Edition Turbo, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature.
