CHRISTMAS WEEKEND HAPPENINGS

A SINATRA STYLE CHRISTMAS
This will be a Christmas Eve to remember with A Night of Sinatra featuring Jeff Grainger and The Hoboken 11 Big Band at Las Olas Oceanside Park, for a free, family-friendly concert from 6:30 - 9:30 pm.  Presented by the City of Fort Lauderdale Beach Improvement District (BID). CHRISTMAS MORNING YOGA ON THE BEACH
Oh, come all ye faithful to the annual Christmas Morning Yoga class on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The feel good flow consists of functional postures, mindful breathing, meditation/relaxation & a  good vibes musical playlist. The teacher will demonstrate & give clear directions with posture modifications for all levels & newbies to enjoy. CHRISTMAS EVENING CONCERT WITH PETER MAYER
Join us in welcoming singer, songwriter and guitarist, Peter Mayer, for a first ever Christmas Day performance of his widely acclaimed Christmas tour, Stars & Promises. This special performance from 7pm - 9pm at Las Olas Oceanside Park, is presented in collaboration with the Broward County Cultural Division. The evening will conclude with a limited attendance VIP Reception and Meet & Greet with the Band to benefit Dillard Center for the Arts.

WATER TAXI HOLIDAY LIGHTS CRUISE
If you missed the Water Taxi Holiday Lights Tour pre-Christmas Day, the specialty cruises continue December 26 - January 2 with an hour and a half ride along the beautiful Intracoastal, where you can enjoy the dazzling holiday lights glowing and gleaming off the beautiful waterfront homes. Each cruise features live holiday music so that guests can jingle all the way down the Intracoastal, as well as specialty themed cocktails, including the Peppermint Patty, Boozy Cider, and Knotty Coffee and non-alcoholic beverages. CHRISTMAS DINING GUIDE

B OCEAN RESORT
This Fort Lauderdale beach resort’s Naked Crab Seafood Kitchen & Bar will be open Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 6-11 p.m. with a three-course meal and holiday-themed drinks that costs $75 per adult and $30 per child younger than 12. Some of the choices on the menu include Wagyu bresaola carpaccio, tuna tartare, beef Wellington and seafood bouillabaisse.

The resort’s Wreck Bar also will be open on Christmas Eve and adults 21 and over can see a holiday-themed Aqua Mermaid Burlesque show and order from the Christmas dinner menu at the Naked Crab. BURLOCK COAST at the Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale will be offering a decadent couples menu on Christmas Eve from 6 pm - 10pm including 16oz  PRIME RIB, Brussel Stompe, Swank Farm Vegetables, Horseradish Cream, PISTACHIO AND STRAWBERRY BAR White Chocolate Cream, Strawberry Fluid Gel and a Bottle of Bubbly or House Wine for $129++ per couple. A Christmas Day 3-course family-style dinner is offered from 5pm - 10pm featuring  entrée selections of BRAISED LAMB SHANK, Leek and Gruyere Polenta, Swiss Chard, Cipollini Onion; SEARED BRONZINI Swank Farm Carrots, Cauliflower Puree, Greens, Kumquat-Olive Salsa and a 6oz BEEF TENDERLOIN

LONA COCIN & TEQUILERIA will offer an a la carte Christmas menu between Dec. 24 and Dec. 26. Some of the dishes include a selection of two roasted pork platters ($15-$21) or a turkey dish ($25), among other food items. The Mexican restaurant also features a festive cocktail menu with drinks priced at $15 each.

MARRIOTT HARBOR BEACH RESORT & SPA
Riva Restaurant presents their annual Christmas Dinner Buffet alongside  beautiful ocean views and complimented with live music from 5pm - 9pm. Highlights of the menu designed by Chef Richard include an Antipasto grazing station, Prime Rib and Honey Ham carving station and main plates ranging from Mahi Mahi, Seafood Paella, Citrus Chicken with traditional sides. Save room for the Sweet Table filled to the brim with assorted cookies, cakes and pies. $59 adult, $24 child (ages 5 to 12). 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. STEELPAN KITCHEN & BAR
Located within Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach, Steelpan Kitchen  & Bar will set the stage for Christmas time on Island time, with  festive holiday cocktails,  dazzling ocean views, and a special 3-course menu on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Offered from 4pm - 10pm, highlights include, Ribeye Steak & Shrimp on sugar cane skewers with boniato potatoes, succotash vegetables, sautéed Swiss chard, shallot thyme jus and Coriander Dusted Branzino with bamboo lemongrass-infused rice, lime-coconut curry sauce, sautéed baby bok choy. Save room for the Gingerbread Cake with vanilla bean ice cream.  $55 per person, $30 children under 12.  Reservations and full menu details are available on OpenTable.

RIVIERA by Fabio Vivani
Within the Hotel Maren on Fort Lauderdale beach, the signature restaurant Riviera will feature celebrity chef Viviani’s a la carte menu on Christmas Day from 4 to 11 p.m. Some of the dishes include: Cacio e pepe with pecorino and summer truffles for $27; Seared sea scallops with roasted celery root, orange, pomegranate and crisp celery root puree and red wine for $38; Red wine-braised short rib, gremolata, parmesan polenta, charred green beans, Calabrian chili, crisp onion and red wine reduction for $45. WILD THYME OCEANSIDE EATERY
Invite your friends to experience an Italian-American Christmas Eve tradition, Feast of the Seven Fishes, at Wild Thyme, located oceanside at The Atlantic Hotel & Spa. In addition to the small and large plate ala carte specials, the regular dining menu will be available.
