Skilled nursing facilities are for individuals who require a higher level of medical care than can be provided in an assisted living community.
What is the 60 rule in rehab? The 60% Rule is a Medicare facility criterion that requires each IRF to discharge at least 60 percent of its patients with one of 13 qualifying conditions.
What is the average length of stay in inpatient rehabilitation? Most patients will receive a minimum of three hours of therapy each day, at least five days a week. Therapy may take place in both individual and group treatment settings, and sessions will be scheduled for various times throughout the day.
