My cat is pooping on floor. How can I resolve this problem.

Answer by

Chewy

• Mar 21, 2020

Cats are sensitive to change, body language and other factors in the household that can cause them to go outside the box. If something has drastically changed in your home, your cat might be craving a little consistency. Try confining her to a smaller space with her own litter box and food for a few days, then gradually reintroduce her to the rest of the house. While confined, make sure to give kitty extra love and attention.

Same Quality, Different Packaging

The Tidy Cats Naturally Strong Unscented Clumping Clay Cat Litter is equally as effective as the Tidy Cats Unscented Cat Litter I previously used to purchase in the plastic containers. The big difference is the eco-friendly PAPER packaging. My cats took to this litter like they've been using it for years, with no issues whatsoever. Do something positive for the planet and purchase this the next time you're in need of a strong, reliable clumping cat litter. Mother Earth will thank you!

Clumps Fall Apart, Bad Odor Control, Sticks to Litterbox

I think the title says it all. I was looking for a litter that wasn't dusty and had less perfume as my regular litter. The only good thing I can say about Tidy Cats Naturals is that it's not very dusty. The clumps stick to the sides of the litter box and fall apart into fine granules when you scoop so it messes up the litter pretty quick. Also, I noticed urine odor in less than a week. This is definitely not a good choice for me.

A lot of complaints by others

Well we received our first order of the the 3 bag litter in our last Chewy auto ship. This is the same litter my kitty has been using for awhile but it’s cheaper at Chewy and gets delivered to my door. How can I beat that? Yes, each bag is pretty heavy on it’s own as someone else had stated. Yeah, it took me 3 trips from the front door to the kitty cat room to get the litter put away. So what? Easier than loading it up into a shopping cart. Also, we recently adopted a young kitty who is a flinger and was getting litter everywhere. Our vet suggested larger litter boxes, problem solved. With mat outside of box, rug at entrance of room, there is no more litter in my bed. Seems to me everyone is complaining an awful lot about problems that aren’t necessarily the fault of the litter. I love it, our house doesn’t smell of cats, even after they use their litter box. Quit complaining and try problem solving instead.

Inconvenient

I thought it would be convenient to have Tidy cats delivered to my door but I couldn't pick it up without help. It is very heavy and when my cat pees its like cement. It's not working for me.

Dissatisfied

I haven’t even opened the bags so I can’t attest as to the quality of the litter. What I’m pointing out is the bags are heavy and will be hard to pour into the litter box. I only purchased these because the Tide Glade clumping litter has been unavailable many times. I know shipments have been unavoidably delayed so I hope it gets better. Thank you

Not ideal but...

The bags and box are recyclable. It tracks everywhere but this one controls odor very well. You wouldn't know we got litter boxes around the house unless you look at the litter on the floor.

Happy kitties.

I use tidy cat clumpable. I like these small bags. Love chewy, and the fed ex people.

Great Product!

I have two wonderful senior cats. One age 20 and the other age 15. As they get older, I have noticed more litter tracking through the house. I have rugs by their three litter boxes but I still have litter on the floors. This litter has eliminated that and no DUST! Also I love the packaging as the brown paper bags I shred and put into my compost bin. Also the cardboard box can be recycled. I am very pleased with this product.

good cat litter

litter contains the smell, and, my cats like it. but, it needs more careful shipping as one of the bags was leaking litter all over.

Special Needs Cat Super Oicku

I’m trying every litter on the market to get this cat to use the litter box. Nothing has worked consistently yet. I’m sure this is a fine product for other cats but it’s not my cat’s choice. ugh

Is activated charcoal in litter safe for cats?

Carbon Filter Litter Boxes Although activated charcoal is non-toxic and safe to use near your kitten, cat, other pets, and children, loose charcoal mixed with litter can leave remnants of black dust. You might try a carbon filter to purify the air in the vicinity of your cat's litter box to avoid excess cleaning.

What kind of cat litter has charcoal in it?

With no added dyes or fragrances, Free & Clean is Tidy's very first unscented litter. And—thanks to the power of activated charcoal, combined with Tidy's tight, scoopable clumps—there is no compromise when it comes to keeping your home smelling, well, just like home.
