Accessibility
The Raleigh Saint Patrick's Day Parade is at street level with some roads closed off to motor vehicles starting early morning. While this means that some areas of the streets and sidewalks can get crowded, all activities are physically accessible. Do note that some streets have a slight uphill pitch to them.  Please email with any concerns or questions.

Hello and Welcome to the Official Website of the Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee!

What a day we all had on March 17th this year. I'll never forget the smiles on everyone's faces all throughout the day. The parade was wonderful, but I am sure everyone was just happy to be together again.

I heard Fr. Frank from Benedictine mention that the Parade Committee and the events we put on are such an important part of our community's identity. After I saw the excitement and appreciation from the people in our community, I truly believe in that statement. When you take away a part of someone's identity, that person changes and is incomplete. Now that the parade has returned, that missing piece of our identity is back again. We are all in a more comfortable place and feel a sense of normalcy that we have all be waiting on.

Thank you all for your patience and support as we tried to honor our mission of keeping St. Patrick in the forefront last year and finally getting back on the streets this year. We know hope you appreciated all of the hard work that was put into the celebrations over the last two years. They may have been different, but we kept our purpose as a priority. I want to thank my fellow officers, my executive committee, and all of our adjutants that helped put on so many successful events. I would also like to thank Bishop Parkes and the diocese, our Irish Community, Mayor Van Johnson and the city employees and officials, the law enforcement and emergency units, and all of our visitors to the city. We successfully put forth many public events and were able to elect a superb Grand Marshal to represent us along the journey. Danny Powers was and is a gentleman who understands the reason why we continue to honor our heritage, our culture, and our faith year after year.

The parade is officially back and we can all look forward to another great year in 2023.

General Chairman

About the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee: The Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization. Since 1824, the committee has organized and presented special events leading up to and including the parade.

Hard to believe that we’re nearly three months into the new decade already, but it’s true. We’ve already passed Valentine’s Day, which means we’re just a few short weeks away from St. Patrick’s Day. This year, the holiday takes place on Tuesday, March 17th. If you’re wondering what to do for the 2020 holiday here in Melbourne FL, we’ve got a few suggestions for you to consider.

Meg O’Malley’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The first event here in town is part of Meg O’Malley’s 21st annual St. Patrick’s Day event, but it takes place the weekend before the holiday on Saturday, March 14th. Details about the parade are scarce at this point, but you can apply to sponsor or be a part of the parade now. The parade itself will kick off at 11:00 a.m. and run until 1:00 p.m.

Meg O’Malley’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival

The actual Meg O’Malley’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival will take place on the holiday itself, kicking off the street party at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17th. The event will include an Irish breakfast, a pair of stages going all day and night, Irish dancers and plenty of bagpipes. Some of the musical attractions include the Lights Out Project, the Ries Brothers and the Hip Abduction.

Lost Leprechaun Pub Crawl

If you’re not ready to quit partying after the holiday festival, then you can hit up the Lost Leprechaun Pub Crawl the weekend after. A six-bar Irish pub crawl, you’ll get six drinks for $18 (or $25 on the day of) with one coming from each bar. Plenty of fun to be had at an event like this, so be sure to check it out!

However you decide to spend the holiday, we just hope you have a fun and safe time. Happy St. Paddy’s Day!
