It's hard to say, the movies so rarely ever go back to the same location twice, much less filmed in even remotely similar areas. We know that theres the camp by the lake, which must be pretty large. Probably 30 to 50 minutes away from town, based on how isolated they are from the town and how people who go out to party in town are generally safe from being hunted by Jason. Show
The diner and various bars and gas stations are in town. Ralph might live with his wife near camp considering he travels there on bicycle, or maybe the town is closer than I thought. Packanack lodge is neighboring it, and close enough for teens to sneak over from one spot to the other within a few minutes on foot. Jason's shack is deep into the woods. But close enough that an out of shape middle aged man could reasonably stumble on it at a decent jog, and close enough to Packanack that Ginny could have run across it and hobble back to the lodge with a leg wound. It isnt directly on the lake, but apparently near enough to camp crystal lake that Jason could have witnessed his mother get killed. Alice moves into an apartment complex located close to the lake in part 2. Close enough to the camp that it worries her family, and for Jason to find and attack her, but far enough away that the location is pretty clearly a suburban neighborhood block. Higgins Haven must be close by to Jason's Shack as well. It is on the lake, and jason could wander upon them by happenstance after fleeing police in part 2. From what I'm guessing, part 4 and 5 both were lakefront locations as well. We dont really see how large the lake is, but I'm guessing the movies would more than make up the majority of the lake surroundings. And somewhere in the lake is an opening that can whisk Jason to a cruise line marina to New York City. So I guess crystal lake is actually a bay?
