Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Eau de Parfum arrives at sephora.com today with a cool, warm, spicy elements. The scent was created to compliment Carolina’s Good Girl Perfume that launched a few years ago. I’m just throwing it out there but Good Girl smells nothing like a good girl…! It’s all bad! Ha…! Good Girl comes across harsh to my nose! It’s a heady tonka blend that tickles my nose and makes me want to sneeze. It’s one of the very rare scents that I purchased spontaneously on a blind buy that I didn’t love. Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Eau de Toilette uses the same tonka bean element and and mixes it with amber and cocoa. I typically don’t get crazy over men’s fragrances but the amber note caught my eye and there’s a good chance that Bad Boy might turn into a unisex blend for some of us. It may also, end up complimenting Good Girl if there two are cocktailed! That’s up for debate obviously until we actually play mad scientist and do the mixing. I’m oddly attracted to warm, amber fragrances and I’ve been known to apply men’s perfume a time or two! The scent opens with White Pepper, Black Pepper and Bergamot, settles on to skin with Sage and Cedar, and dries down to warm Tonka Bean, Cacao and Amberwood notes. If Bad Body isn’t as heady as Good Girl and the amber plays nicely with some of the citrus elements in this blend it might just be a win for women as well as men!
