This gives you more axle control while you're off-roading so that you can go over big obstacles.
Can you manually disconnect Jeep sway bar?They work like a charm: they are easy to disconnect and reconnect. Once the swaybar is disconnected, all Wrangler have roughly the same degree of articulation, that is within the suspension setup that you have. I have a stock suspension on my JLUS.
Are sway bar disconnects worth it?Sway bar disconnects are one of the best value for the dollar mods we have done. They cost very little and they gain you so much. You can achieve the same basic effect by unbolting the sway bar links each time, but that is something of a pain in the butt.
What is the purpose of sway bar disconnect on a Jeep?By disconnecting the sway bar, the two move independently again and the left side will be allowed to extend as far downward (hopefully, to some other surface) as the arms and shocks allow. This added articulation allows for better traction in more scenarios.
