Iphone 13 pro max golden brown leather case

I’ve purchased the same case for my iPhone 13 pro max in midnight and I’ve also purchased the same color case (golden brown) for my iPhone 13 pro from the Apple Store and something about this case purchased from Amazon doesn’t feel right. The build quality and craftsmanship is off. The feel of the leather is off. I strongly suspect this purchase to be a fake. You can compare contrast the differences in the photos I posted. Be aware. I will be returning this case to Amazon and purchasing from my local Apple Store when they restock.Lastly… Amazon, if this is truly a fake please do better. Especially now with your price increase for prime users.

Dings up easy. Like when you drop something heavy on linoleum. Overpriced due to that. Should come with a warning. I rarely give less than 5 stars. Sorry but this only gets 4.

Despite the color of this case being named ‘Golden Brown’, it’s much closer to toasted orange - not dark enough to be called burnt orange in my opinion. Several friends commented on how orange the case was.

I actually sanded the case down and used leather dye to make it a dark brown. Only a slight hint of the ‘gold’ shows through now.

It’s a really nice case, but the color should be called orange and not brown.

I have a basket with at least 5 other cases… others either fit too loosely, cover buttons so much they make them unusable…are fingerprint magnets, face oil magnets etc… This FEELS nice, yet tough, elegant, doesn’t get dirty quick. You absolutely get what you pay for… Ordered 2 different colors… Also, HUGE plus, MagSafe accessories work PERFECTLY!

I only used this case on my iPhone for normal home use. Never dropped the case but still looks little damaged after a month of use

I bought this Apple case for my new iPhone 13 Pro Max to replace a cheaper plastic case that I bought earlier. The case just looks so right!! I've knocked my phone and case off of tables several times without sustaining any damage (Thank goodness)! Happy with my purchase.

This case is just ok. I purchased this one after having issues with the Apple Silicone case.. and while it is more durable than the silicone case, it doesn't feel worth the money. The front and back edges all around has been discolored, especially the 4 corners, presumably from being in various pockets (and not even in any new pairs of jeans, mind you). Magsafe does work well though so no complaints there, and I like that it's a pretty slim case yet protective. However, I wouldn't buy one of these again in the future.

The case looks great! The leather feels like great quality.
However, my phone keeps sliding out from the case, especially on the bottom left corner.
Tried two of them and the issue is the same.

I’m a big fan of Apple, and I am always happy to pay extra for their goods and accessories, knowing they carry out that extra mile of testing and quality checks.. however, this time it’s a massive disappointing product..

Having just spent all that money on an iPhone 13 Pro Max, the last thing you want is to take chances with the case and this is as good as you'll find. Sure it's about £20 more than I'd like, but if it lasts longer (and ages better thanks to the leather), for me it will have been a good investment.

UPDATE: Just over a year later and the case is nearly split by the volume buttons, but apart from that it's held up really well and served its purpose. I was going to remove a star for durability, but currently on sale for 50% less than I paid so keeps its 4* rating.

Vor ab: Ich bin wirklich geizig. Anfangs habe ich es nicht eingesehen, so viel Geld für eine Handyhülle auszugeben. Dennoch habe ich mich dazu entschieden, diese mit anderen günstigeren Handyhüllen zu vergleichen. Und was soll ich sagen? Wenn man zuerst die Ledercase nutzt, denkt man, dass das eine ganz normale Handyhülle ist. Sobald man aber günstigere alternativen nutzt, merkt man erstmal die Feinarbeit in der Hülle. Die Hülle liegt super in der Hand, rutscht nicht, die Knöpfe sind unfassbar schön gemacht und fühlen sich sehr hochwertig an und die Hülle gibt ein Gefühl von Sicherheit. Bevor ich mir nochmal 3 verschiedene Hüllen kaufe, kaufe ich mir lieber sofort diese Lederhülle von Apple direkt. Erspart einige Nerven.

This is not an Apple product. The one on the left I've now bought directly from Apple and is a proper "midnight" black. The one on the right is from here and as you can see is CLEARLY not "midnight". Also, Apple don't sell case in this colour so have no idea where this is from. Buyer beware!

I brought this a week after getting the iPhone 13 pro max in sierra blue. I’d used the phone without a case for a while it felt exactly like a brand new iPhone should. I have small hands and it’s a big, weighty phone so as much as I wanted to stay without a case it wasn’t going to work. I used a clear plastic spiegan case which was great. Very grippy and gave confidence using the phone. I wanted something a bit more special so looked at these cases it was a toss up between the ‘wisteria’ and this colour. In the end I decided the darker colour would probably age better and show stains less.

The case is a great fit. The cut outs are as you expect, perfect. The buttons are a metal finish and make a satisfying push.

Grip wise, a couple of days only of use and it’s less grippy than the Spiegan clear plastic case. But I think that’s to be expected. The back is smoother but if you have warm hands you probably will be fine. The sides have a slight lip around to give grip and protect the screen when face down. The camera bump has a lip to protect the lenses but it’s not as deep as the other case.

Overall I’m very happy. It’s not cheap but if your reading this you have a £1,000+ phone and a £60 case might not be too much of a stretch. It’s a really nice case. I would definitely recommend it.

The colour is a very dark plumb colour. Slightly lighter in sun light and if the light hits it just right you get a nice flash of the blue around the screen edge against the plumb/cheery. It’s lush.
