• Half a cup of white glue (PVA)
• 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

• Glitter
• 2Tbsp water

How to make slime with contact solution

Making slime is a quick and easy process. Simply follow our step by step guide below:

1.  Wash hands thoroughly before getting started.
2.  Pour 120 ml of glue into a mixing bowl and stir in 2 Tbsp of water.
3. Add the shaving cream and bicarbonate of soda, one after the other, taking care to stir in between.
4. Add your desired food coloring and glitter bit by bit whilst stirring. This will ensure that you get the consistency you're after.
5. Then add the contact lens solution slowly whilst stirring.
6. As the slime becomes less of a liquid texture, take it out the bowl and knead it with your hands.
7. You may need to add some more solution if you find it sticking to your hands.

Is borax safe for slime?

Slime is safe for kids as long as right safety precautions are taken. Here are some safety rules we recommend you follow:

1. If your child has sensitive skin and develops any irritation when playing with slime then avoid making and playing with slime that contains borax or derivatives of borax.
