anything. It's a great basic recipe to eat as-is or to use in other dishes such as chicken parmesan or cut up and added to salads. These Air Fryer Chicken Cutlets are one of our go-to meals when we aren't quite sure what we want to eat. They are super easy to throw together and they come out juicy and crispy at the same time. Chicken cutlets are just thinly sliced chicken breasts. If you cannot find chicken cutlets you can also use chicken breasts cut in half that are pounded out to ¼-inch thick. How do I know when these are done? These will be done when the center of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F. Why do you spray the chicken? Spraying the chicken helps it brown and crisp up! I highly recommend doing that with anything that you bread and air fry. What do I serve with this? This recipe
is super versatile so you can serve with a lot of things including green beans, side salad, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, etc. It pretty much works perfectly with any side dish of your choice. How do I store leftovers? These can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator where they will keep for up to 3-4 days. They can also be frozen. Place in a freezer container and they will keep for up to 4 months. To defrost, remove to the refrigerator overnight until thawed. You can reheat in the air fryer or microwave until heated through. Create a breading station by placing 3 shallow plates or bowls
together. Put the flour in one dish, a beaten egg in the next, and the breadcrumbs in another. Preheat the air fryer to 400F degrees. In the dish with the bread crumbs whisk in the lemon pepper, garlic powder and parmesan cheese.
Lightly season the cutlets with additional salt and pepper. Using tongs, dredge the cutlet in the flour, then the egg, followed by the bread crumbs and set on a plate until all the cutlets are coated. When the air fryer is hot, arrange the cutlets in a single layer in the basket.
Generously mist with olive oil spray. Cook at 400F degrees for 5 minutes and flip. Spray again with more olive oil spray. Cook for an additional 4 minutes or until the cutlets reach an internal temperature of 165F degrees. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges and garnish with fresh (or dried) parsley.
