This wikiHow teaches you how to set an alarm using your Android's Clock app.

Open the Clock app. Tap the clock-shaped app in your Android's list of apps.
- You may have to open the list of apps by either tapping the Apps icon or by swiping up from the bottom of the page.

Tap the "Alarm" icon. It resembles an alarm clock in the top-left corner of the screen.

Tap +. You'll usually find this option at the bottom of the screen. Doing so will open a new alarm page.

Set the time. Tap the hour value (e.g., 4) and spin the dial around to reach the hour you want, then tap the minute value (e.g., 45) and repeat the dial process. You'll also need to tap AM or PM if your phone doesn't use 24-hour time.

Tap OK. It's in the bottom-right corner of the alarm window. This will create your alarm and turn it on.[1]

Customize your alarm. You can customize your alarm the following ways:
- Tap Repeat to set the days of the week you want the alarm to repeat for.
- Tap the Bell to set the alarm sound.
- Tap the Vibrate checkbox if you want the alarm to vibrate.
- Tap the Label icon to add a label or title to your alarm (i.e. "Workdays").

Open the Clock app. Tap the clock-shaped icon on your Samsung Galaxy's home screen.
- If you don't see Clock here, tap Apps in the lower-right corner and look for it there.

Tap ALARM. It's in the top-left corner of the screen. This will open the Alarm tab.

Tap +. This option is in the bottom-right corner of the Alarm tab.

Set the alarm's time. Use the hour and minute dials to set the time at which you want the alarm to go off, then select AM or PM on the right side.
- If your phone uses 24-hour time (military time), you won't have to set AM or PM.

Select days for the alarm. Tap the first letter of each day on which you want the alarm to go off. You'll find these letters in the "Repeat" section of the page.

Enter a name for your alarm. Tap Alarm name, then type in a name for the alarm.

Edit other options. You can change the following settings:
- Snooze - Tap this option to change the snooze settings, or tap the colored switch to the right of it to turn Snooze off.
- Alarm tone and volume - Tap this option to change the volume settings and the tone that the alarm uses, or tap the colored switch to the right of it to disable sound for the alarm.
- Vibration - Tap this option to change vibration settings, or tap the colored switch to its right to turn off vibration.
- Read time aloud - Tap the grey switch to the right of this option to have your Android announce the time when the alarm goes off.

Tap SAVE. It's in the top-right corner of the screen. Doing so will save your alarm and turn it on by default.
- You can disable your alarm by tapping the colored switch to the right of the alarm's name.
