Earth Day in the Park is COMING BACK in 2022!! Show
After a 2-year hiatus, we are finally able to restore Allentown's Earth Day in the Park celebration. Come join us for our FREE event, complete with food, music, giveaways, environmental vendors, and family-friendly activities! This year's celebration will be taking place on Saturday, April 23rd from 12pm to 4pm at the Allentown Arts Park, located at 24 N 5th St in Allentown. Earth Day in the Park was started in 2018 to create awareness about environmental protection, while bringing community members together to celebrate Earth Day and have some fun! Each year we want to grow our festival into something bigger and better, but not forget the reason why we started it. We are currently looking for the following vendors:
If you are interested in joining Earth Day in the Park as a vendor, please contact our office at 610-437-8729 or email us environmental impactSince 2013, Integrated Building Systems has joined Earth Day celebrations around the world by hosting a recycling drive that gives everyone an environmentally responsible way to dispose of old equipment and keep it from polluting landfills. Cleaner landfills = a healthier environment for everyone! As of April 2022, our event has collected over 130,000 pounds of e-waste – which in turn has created thousands of hours of job training for our recycling partners, who teach people with disabilities how to properly process e-waste according to EPA, HIPAA, and R2 guidelines.
