Deadly car accident in atlanta yesterday 2023

The Georgia State Patrol has identified the victim in this mornings fatal traffic accident and the victim’s family has been notified. The victim was identified as Ms. Crissy D. Trapp, age 48.

According to the Georgia State Patrol, “These are the preliminary investigative results, and this crash is still under investigation. On May 26, at 4:13 a.m., GSP Post 38 responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in Chattooga County on GA 1 at Rossville Boulevard. The preliminary investigation determined that a red 2010 Dodge Charger, driven by Ms. Alexis G. Wilson, age 26, was traveling south in the right lane of GA 1 southbound. A pedestrian, Ms. Crissy D. Trapp, age 48, was lying in the right lane of GA 1 southbound. The Dodge Charger ran over the pedestrian while traveling south in the right lane of GA 1 southbound. The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries.“

From earlier reports from Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader: Highway 27 at Rossville Blvd near Trion, we have a pedestrian that has been struck and fatally wounded. If your travel permits you to go a different route, Please avoid the area while the Georgia State Patrol investigates.
