If you like farmhouse style, but you are tight on space, this mini convertible crib might be perfect for you. The Autumn mini crib is one of the newest DaVinci’s models. Well, its concept is not as new as the model itself. This mini crib is actually a mini copy of a popular full-size Autumn crib. That is great because you are buying a well-tested model, only in smaller dimensions. I am not surprised that the DaVinci Autumn mini crib became so popular, so soon! But, of course, I had to make sure if it lives up to its excellent reviews, so we’ve made our own DaVinci Autumn 4-in-1 mini convertible crib review too. Review’s summary:PROS:

RECOMMENDED DEAL DaVinci Autumn 4-in-1 convertible mini crib review breakdownThe DaVinci Autumn mini crib comes in a box. The assembly is easy and fast, with easy to follow included instruction. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a person to help you if you want to make your job more comfortable. As for the warranty, it is the same as with virtually any crib on the market. It has a one-year limited warranty, meaning the DaVinci will replace any missing parts or any defective item at the time of purchase. It does not cover damages that are a result of the assembly, wear, negligence, or improper use. Another cool thing I find very useful is the fact that it’s part of the DaVinci Autumn collection. If you want a complete nursery, but you are not skilled at interior designing, you can decide on one or more Autumn collection pieces. DesignThe DaVinci Autumn 4-in-1 convertible mini crib combines traditional country style and contemporary touch. It is a beautiful crib, but you can pick only between three different finishes (Slate, White, and Chesnut), which is a bit disappointing. Considering this is a mini-sized version of the popular DaVinci Autumn full-size model, I would expect more finishes for a mini crib too. But other than that, it is its perfect copy, with identical clean lines and refined raised molding on the headboard. The mini DaVinci Autumn also possesses the same conversions as a full-size model, just in smaller dimensions. Overall, it is a lovely mini crib, which, to me, looks nicer if placed against the wall. The DaVinci Autumn is surrounded by strong slats, wherein only the upper part of the crib’s back-side is closed. That gives it an open design, which allows better breathability and helps to prevent the baby’s overheating. All parents, well, especially moms, want a beautiful crib. But a gorgeous style is far from the most important crib’s feature. The crib’s functionality and safety are those that have to be perfect as well! Space saving efficiencyWith clean and straight lines, without curves, it is easier to squeeze it into small nooks. Although the Autumn is not the tiniest DaVinci’s mini crib, I think it has a proper space-saving design. Of course, it is not a lot bigger than other models. I am talking about an inch or two compared to the DaVinci Dylan or Colby mini convertible crib. Or if I compare it with the famous DaVinci Kalani mini convertible crib … while the Autumn mini crib is two inches longer, is the Kalani two-inch wider. Their footprint is, therefore, the same. This information is relevant if your space for a mini crib is very limited, and every inch counts. In other ways, I don’t think the extra inch matters. Note! The mentioned differences in mini cribs sizes are the result of different cribs’ frameworks. The interior dimensions are the same, and all of them take the same mini crib mattress! The DaVinci Autumn 4-in-1 mini convertible crib is also a little bit heavier than most mini cribs. That’s due to its sturdy frame and higher backside with refined raised molding. However, the Autumn is not a mini portable crib but a convertible type, which is meant to stay in its place, so I do not see an issue here. Convertibility reviewThis mini convertible crib has everything. It is a 4-in-1 convertible crib, which converts into a mini toddler bed, daybed, and twin-size bed. As such, it can be the only bed your child will ever need. Conversions are easy and shouldn’t take you much time, but be aware that this is a mini crib, so its toddler bed and daybed are also smaller. That raises the question of whether buying a toddler bed safety guardrail is worth it. Well, yes and no. I can’t imagine my toddler would stay on her bed without it. But on the other hand, your toddler can sleep a little longer in the crib. Then convert the Autumn directly into a daybed, which does not need any additional purchase, and see how it goes. Anyway, a toddler bed safety guardrail will cost you around $60, which is not so much. After your child outgrows the daybed, you can buy a twin-size convertible kit and convert the Autumn into a twin-size bed. With this conversion, the raised headboard comes to the fore even more. The bed maintains a farmhouse style and looks great.

You need a mini crib mattress! The best choice is the manufacturer’s mini crib-sized mattress, but there is nothing wrong with a different brand too. But be careful! Find a firm mini crib mattress that fits snuggly in the crib! A proper mini crib mattress for the DaVinci Autumn crib is at least 36.75 inches long by 23.25 inches wide and not more than 5 inches thick.
