I've done work on previous cars before, but never the headgasket. Seems like a time consuming, but simple job to me. Am i missing something boneheadedly simple or what? Yup Hardest part about the headgasket job is the timing belt portion of it, qhich you might as well replace while you are at it. CTA9260 - Volkswagen/Audi Head Bolt Wrench - 9mm Did you blow the gasket? New head bolts are required along with the gasket. Have fun.
