Trim Suptreme Oldsmobile : Cutlass Hurst 1975 hurst olds w 25 cutlass survivor florida car original 36 770 miles not 74 3$17,500 Wausau, Wisconsin Category Sedan Mileage 36770 Posted Over 1 Month First things first, the pictures of this car are very low resolution on this site, PLEASE click on the link below to my Photo Bucket to view 140 pictures of high resolution/high quality snap shots of the car! http://s1340.photobucket.com/user/pcb1303/library/85%20oLDS%20442/75%20Hurst%20Olds?sort=3&page=1 First time ever offered sale for to the general public is my 1975 Hurst Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme (fifth letter in the Vin “K” denotes W 25 Hurst Olds) with only 36,700 original miles and is 1 of 939 ever made. From my understanding, this was a three owner car up until I bought it two years ago from Michigan, the gentleman I bought it from said he bought it from a car collector out of Florida where it spent most all of its life and the car has been stored for 22 years in the same building along with 32 other cars classic cars. My wife says I have a madness (LOL) I call it a passion for classic cars that will never, ever go away as all of my buildings are full of cars and I have nowhere to go with them anymore. It was a tough decision, but I decided to put my Hurst Oldsmobile up for sale, enough about me know let’s talk about the car. This car appears to be 100% original even the engine (I never did check to make sure thought), with the exception of the exhaust, tires, shocks, battery and the paint which appears to be some 25 years old, maybe even older? The paint job on the car appears to be a high quality driver, both sides look razor straight, body lines/gaps all line perfect to each other, the car has two very, very small dings in the passenger side quarter panel and I tried to take a picture of it, would not show up they were so small as seen from the photo bucket pictures. The roof on the car still has the original black paint on it, however it could use new paint only because it is foggy, getting dull looking. You will find some rock chips/road rash across the bottom of the car on both sides, which is very, small and not at all noticeable. You will find NO rust, scale, bondo or any metal replacement (including top of the metal dash, rear window or door jambs) as this car is totally 100% rust free and has been its whole life still retains all of its original sheet metal!! Looking at the vinyl top, it is original to the car with some light fading because it does not have that new shine look to it, I did NOT put any vinyl dressing on it to make it look like I was hiding anything like most people do, again look at the pictures that I have on my photo bucket and you will see just how nice and clean it looks. All of the chrome/stainless trim, bumpers on the car is in outstanding, like perfect condition with no dings or dents with the exception of the usual pot metal filler strip between the rear bumper and the trunk has some minor pitting from aging. Underneath the car you will see it is just as clean as the outside, NO scale on the floorboards, frame or rust repair of any kind, just the original factory under coating just as it left the assembly line back in 1975. As you look at the bottom of the car you will see NO oil, grease residue/buildup like you see on high mileage cars, again showing you that the 36,700 miles is totally original on this car, however the transmission pan gasket is just starting to leak/weep ever so slightly, to be honest with you I think it is the original pan gasket (cork) and should probably be changed along with a transmission filter/fluid anyway. Under the hood you find the clean 350 rocket engine to be totally original, un-touched with all of the correct wires, AC pump/compressor, belts and hoses to be original to the car with the exception of the upper radiator hose. When I bought the car the original air cleaner was lost, it had a open element style on it, so I found the correct air cleaner for it and had it sandblasted/powder coated with the original black 60% gloss finish, I never did put the rocket 350 lid decal back on it. I put about 570 miles on the car this summer with absolutely no problems whatsoever, it starts right up cold (no blue/black smoke from the almost new dual exhaust) with the choke working perfectly. The engine runs smooth as silk with NO knocks, lifter/rod ticking, exhaust leaks or any problems at all, as a matter of fact you could get into the car and drive it coast to coast with no worries/problems. When driving at highway speeds (70 mph) or city driving, you will find that this car handles just like new as it should with about 900 miles on the almost new tires it does not pull to either side of the road when letting go of the steering wheel at any speed or braking, the factory Hurst dual gate shifter works very nicely shifting very smooth in all three gears. The only, I mean only thing that does not work on the car is the AC, the fan blows cool air, not cold air which gives me reason to believe that it needs a fresh shot of Freon. Looking at the interior you find it was a non-smoked in clean (all of the ash trays are new never used) very, very presentable showing its original seat covers starting to shrink over time and some of the stitching/thread giving up after 40 years of light use, what is truly amazing is the original black dash pad with no cracks or fading, even the carpeting is original and in outstanding condition as it should for a low mileage survivor car, even the factory GM black floor mats show little to no wear at all. The AM 8 track radio works sometimes when it wants, I think it needs to be re-built or up graded, other than that everything works, wipers, all gauges, interior/exterior lights, heater, even the fasten seatbelt light on the dash glows red when you start the engine. In the trunk compartment you will find the original spare tire slightly used, guessing maybe 200 miles on it (see photo bucket) and the maybe once used compete bumper jack assembly underneath the tire. Back in the day on the assembly they always put the trunk mat in the car right after the splatter paint was sprayed, it was no different with this car as you can see what happens ARG, but you can still see the compete rust free trunk compartment! Sooner or later this car will need inner/outer door glass molding, door, T-top and trunk weather stripping as they are starting to show their age, although working just fine. Oldsmobile : Cutlass Holiday Sedan 1970 Cutlass Supreme daily driver on 22s Factory Air 64K original miles Austin$8,000 Austin, Texas Category - Mileage - Posted Over 1 Month Very nice Cutlass Supreme. Complete, just ready for paint and a little vinyl work on the inside. This is a VERY RARE Holiday Sedan- meaning that there is no center post between the front and rear doors. The car is basically just the rebadged Pontiac Grand Prix. ORIGINAL 350 Rocket motor and Turbo 350 Transmission. This car is a daily driver. No major rust or body damage. No accident history. The car was in a barn in south Texas until 2010, and at that point it was not running. Got it running, and haven't done much else.Only thing not original is the radiator, the distributor and ignition and that's about it. I have installed some 22" Cabo Wheels and tires. Because, well because it looks like a boss. I'm not a fan, generally, of big wheels- but they look so good on this car. It's low, and mean and properly sitting on the body. Just - well, you have to see it because I wouldn't believe it either if I didn't see it. Cabo wheels w/ full warranty from Discount tire. Just pay $50 if you pick up a nail, and they put on a brand new tire. I have the original, horrible Quadrajet carburetor but I ditched it for an Edelbrock carb. Much better. But the original is included, as well. The original steel wheels with 14" tires are included with the sale. It does need paint. This is the original paint, and because it was stored indoors it looks great for it's age. But it's 45 years old, and needs to be cleaned up. The interior is about a 7 out of 10. The vinyl is in need of some reconditioning as well. But it's all complete. The top is in great condition. Again, this is a non-restored car. Title is in hand. Miles are correct at 64,000. I have the ORIGINAL bill of sale and window sticker, as well as the original title. Factory Air Conditioning blows ICE COLD from startup to the end of the day. Heater works. Stereo is also original, but I am missing the back dashboard. The car starts and runs PERFECTLY every single day. I drove it 300 miles last week alone. The wheels do not hit the fenders. I had to have the fender trim on the fronts rolled under to give clearance when the wheel was at full lock- but you can't see that from the outside. I have the stock wheels as well and they are included, with new tires on the steelies. You are looking at a very nice Cutlass that is ready for restore, or just drive it like it is. Oldsmobile : 442 442 1972 oldsmobile cutlass 442 w 30$79,000 Houston, Texas Category - Mileage - Posted Over 1 Month 7786 Blankenship Drive | Houston, Texas 77055 | 281.530.6000 1972 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS 442 W30 SILVER PEWTER METALLIC WITH BLACK VINYL TOP 455 CU IN OF POWER AND TORQUE The name '442' first appeared in 1964 as an option on the F-85 and Cutlass. The 442 was technically the 'B09 Police Apprehender' option which included the four-barrel carbureted 330 cubic-inch V8 with dual exhaust and 310 horsepower. The suspension, shocks, clutch, transmission, driveshaft, brakes, and wheels were also greatly improved. The name '4-4-2' evolved from the combination of options: four-barrel carburetor, four-speed transmission, and dual, meaning two, exhausts. The 442 had been offered in retaliation of the Pontiac Tempest GTO which was unexpectedly popular. Oldsmobile wanted some of those sales. The 442 was offered on any F-85 or Cutlass model except the station wagons. The Olds 455 V8 was introduced as the standard 442 engine for the 1970 Oldsmobile 442. With a 370 hp W30 option available, output was 365 hp and 500 ft-lbf. the 365 and 370 hp power ratings were conservatively underrated at a lower rpm. Both engines were believed to produce 410 to 420 hp. The 1970 Oldsmobile 442 was the pace car at the Indy 500 race in 1970, along with the Cutlass Supreme. The W-30's received a W-25 fiberglass OAI hood to replace the bumper scoops that were on the 1968 and 1968 W-30's, in addition to the standard 442 offerings. The W-30 also received an aluminum intake manifold, cylinder heads, special camshaft, distributor and carburetor. For 1971 the engine output was down due to a lower compression ratio which affected all of GM's engines. The base engine 455 was rated at 340 hp while the W-30 achieved a rating of 350 hp. For the first time since 1964 the sport coupe disappeared, only to return the following year. In the 1972 Cutlass Holiday coupe, Cutlass S sport coupe, Holiday coupe, and Cutlass Supreme convertible, the 442 name reverted to an appearance and handling option package. This package consisted of suspension upgrades, side striping, faux hood louvers, a unique grille and fender and decklid badging. When ordering the optional 455 engine, a rear bumper with cutouts for exhaust tips could be had. To keep the high performance arena strong, an L75 455 in³ V8 was available, but the smaller Oldsmobile 350 V8 came standard. In 1972 a special edition Hurst/Olds paced the Indy. The famous W30 option was still available in 1972 and included the still-potent L77 455 engine that produced 300 hp and 410 ft-lbfs of torque. The W25 featured a fiberglass ram-air hood, a lightweight aluminum intake manifold, anti-spin differential with 3.42:1 gears, and heavy duty cooling. Power brakes were only available with an automatic transmission. In 1972 only 113 W30 convertibles and 659 W30 coupes were sold.
