So you are ready to sell your collection?

The first thing you want to do is make a list of highlights that you have.

Creating this list should not take more then 1-2 hours.

You will want to go through and pick out the more popular players. These are referred to as the “Star” cards. If you aren’t familiar with the collection look for on card autographs, cards in plastic holders, and things of that nature.

1) Describe your collection via email, phone call or any of the social media messaging platforms. These questions are most important to answer:

• An estimate of how many total cards in your collection.
• What percentage of the collection is pre-1975?
• What (if any) complete sets do you have?

A list of all items in your collection is not necessary, but if you have a list please send it to us.

2) Send us a few pictures of your collection. You can fit many cards into one picture by spreading them out. Focus on the oldest cards in your collection. Pictures can be sent to or via text message to (248) 520-5776.

Start with these pictures:

• At least one picture of the entire collection so we can see the size of the collection.
• One picture of the most valuable items in the collection (in your opinion).
• Photos of your pre-1975 star player cards.

3) Submit an asking price.

• We meet or exceed asking prices every day. The time and effort involved in accurately pricing a large collection can be rigorous, and asking prices allow us to make sure we are in the same general price range before we proceed.

How Do I Get My Collection To You?

Many collections can be shipped to us, which eliminates the hassle of scheduling, traveling or transportation. If you have a large collection that is impractical to ship, we will drive or fly to you and handle the transportation. We also regularly conduct buying trips in different regions of the country, where we schedule appointments to view and purchase collections.

Do You Buy Late 80’s and 90’s Cards?

Cards from 1985-1995 are usually worth under 1 cent per card. These cards cost more for us to sell than they are worth. We will not buy them if they are the only cards in your collection, but we will still buy them if your collection also contains vintage cards. We typically donate 1985-1995 cards to a local organization if we acquire them as a part of a collection that also has vintage items.

How Do I Get A 10% Finder's Fee?

If you know someone that has a collection of sports cards and memorabilia they would like to sell, send us their contact information along with a note that you are hoping to receive a finder's fee for this transaction. If we end up purchasing the collection, you will receive 10% of the purchase price in cash (up to $100,000).
