Something that I looked for when looking for colleges is diversity which sfsu offers greatly. Every culture, belief, gender, etc. is welcome with open arms! Not to mention the great academics and BEAUTIFUL campus. Everything you need is within miles of you. Beach, nature, zoo, lake, city, its all there. I also love how the university is mindful of covid. Face masks are still required indoor to ensure the safety of students, and staff which shows
great precautions. The campus itself is taken care of in a clean manner and the amount of campus security present makes it feel like a safe environment to be in. Athletics at sfsu are good as well. The only downside is that there is no football team unfortunately, but our other teams seem to makeup for that absence. Overall, SFSU is a great school to consider. Amazing campus and location, good academics and athletics, good food and dorms, and amazing professors!

SFSU has a very diverse student body. They have a College of Ethnic Studies and the professors are very passionate about
teaching. I enjoyed all my ethnic studies classes taken for general education. The library is spacious and has great resources like computers and group study rooms. The student health clinic is very accessible. There are many student clubs and events to participate in. Classes were impacted but not impossible to enroll in what you need. It's a commuter campus, meaning student life is quiet on weekends since majority of students live in the SF Bay Area and go home instead of hangout on campus.
Easy location to commute to since they have a shuttle to Bart, there's MUNI, and samTrans all accessible to students. The food on campus is pretty good. They also have great coffee, too!
There is a lot of diversity on this campus. It's very interesting to see many different people come from all
walks of life, race/ethnicity, religion, social class, etc. but it could use some work. Firstly, everyone who is dorming on campus has to pay for a meal plan. While, that is somewhat understandable, the meal choices are always the same for lunch and dinner! The main dishes are always burgers and fries, while they switch out the side dishes. That is not healthy for college students to eat everyday! Why don't we switch it up with steak, or spaghetti as the main dish every once in a while? I also
know they have to clean the dishes and utensils used by the students, 3 times a day, but some of it does not even look clean at all. Also, I feel like hookup culture is such a real thing and threat to this campus, they need to start putting condoms out in bathrooms or give them to the floor RA's to hand out. Other than that, my teachers are super sweet and my classes are pretty small.
