The Credential Manager comes into play in such situations.

All of our log-in credentials including the usernames, passwords, and addresses are saved by a Windows' digital locker called Credential Manager. Here, our credentials are divided into two groups: Web Credential and Windows Credential.

As can be assumed, only Windows uses Windows credentials. It includes the passwords saved by windows while you used to log into the homegroup or shared folders of other companies that were in the same network.

The usernames and passwords that you use to log in to various sites are saved by Web Credentials. Here, in this article, you will learn how to find, view and manage passwords in Windows 10 using Credential Manager.
