I cannot listen to my voicemail because I forgot the voicemail password. Who should I turn to for help? My iPhone carrier is AT&T". Voicemail, also named as voice message or voice bank is the system that allows you to exchange personal voice messages using an ordinary telephone. Nowadays, voicemails are widely used on iPhone and Android by the carriers. It is convenient to go through an automated message to listen to your voicemails, however, once you forgot the voicemail password, you will find it a headache. Solution 1. How to change voicemail password directly if you do remember the old passwordThis way is only available assuming you remember the original voicemail password, and you change the password on your iPhone and Android directly. On your phone, go to "Settings" > "Phone" > Hit "Change Voicemail Password" > Enter the current voicemail password and "Done" > Type the new voicemail password and "Done" > Type your new password again, and confirm to change your voicemail password. After that, next time you open the voicemail notification, you can enter the new voicemail password to listen to the voice messages. Solution 2. How to reset voicemail password from your carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, etc.)If you forgot voicemail password on your iPhone or Android phone, then there is no direct way but asking for help for your carrier to help you. #1. Reset AT&T voicemail password on iPhoneFor finding back your AT&T voicemail password, there are two ways to make it, set up password from a call and change the password from websites. AT&T voicemail password reset via a call1Call 611 or 800-331-0500 to enter the wireless number starting with the area code. 2Press "3" to "Get Help with Voicemail" > "3" to select to reset your voicemail password. 3 Enter the Billing Zip code for the account, and after that your iPhone will display "Password Incorrect – Enter Voicemail Password" > Type the last seven digits of the wireless phone number and "OK". Change AT&T voicemail password online1Go to https://www.wireless.att.com/olam/loginAction.olamexecute, log in your wireless account. 2Select "Reset Voice Mail PIN" > Reset the password and select a wireless number from the drop-down men > "Submit". 3After seconds, your iPhone will receive "Password Incorrect – Enter Voicemail Password", enter the last seven digits of the wireless phone number and tap "OK". #2. Change Verizon voicemail password on iPhoneIf you forgot voicemail password from Verizon carrier, there are three ways for you to reset the password. Reset voicemail password from a call on your phone1Dial 611 and press "SEND". Or you can directly call (800) 922-0204 to ask for automated customer service menu. 2Follow the instructions and go to "Reset Voicemail Password" > Enter the requested information and follow the prompts to reset the password. Kindly note that you cannot have the repeated digits or consecutive digits as the reset voicemail password. After that, you can check your Verizon messages. Change voicemail password on Verizon online1Go to https://wbillpay.verizonwireless.com/vzw/mobilesecure/services/resetVPass.action, log in you're the screen. 2Select the device to change the password > "Manage My Device" > "RESET VOICE MAIL PASSWORD" to get one option from "Create New Password" or "Choose a password for me" > "Submit" to change or create a new password from Verizon. Make new password on Verizon appIn this way, you could download Verizon app to your phone to help you get the voicemail password reset. 1On your phone, go to "My Verizon" app > "Menu" > "Account". 2Tap "Account Settings" > Sign in your Verizon > "Security" > "Manage Voicemail Password". 3Input and confirm the new voicemail password and hit "Update" to make the changes. #3. T-Mobile voicemail password reset on iPhone and AndroidSet up voicemail password1Press and hold 1 on your phone's dialpad to connect your voicemail. 2A prompted display will let you create a password the first time to access your new voicemail account, and you need to use the last four digits of your mobile number. 3Create a new password with 4 to 7 digit code. Then record your greeting and name, and you can make the default settings to use the voicemail. Reset T-Mobile voicemail password online1Go to T-Mobile login page to log in your T-Mobile account. 2 Select "PHONE" > "Check Voicemail" > "Settings" > "PIN" to follow the screen instructions to complete the process of resetting password. Change T-Mobile password on phone1Press and hold 1 on your phone's dialpad to connect your voicemail. 2Press "*" key > "5" to enter the "Password Security" service. 3Press "1" to follow the instructions to change your voicemail password.
