Blocking of Credit Card
To block your credit card immediately, you can contact either one of the following numbers. 1800 267 2425 (India toll free) or +91 22 4955 2425. Some instances to use these numbers are mentioned below.
- In the event of loss of credit/debit card.
- If your Citibank card is stuck in the ATM slot.
- If you’ve received an alert of fraudulent usage.
- If the money isn’t dispensed after using your card at an ATM point.
You can also block your card by following the steps mentioned below.
- Log in to the Citibank website using your user ID and IPIN.
- On the left-hand side of the screen, click on ‘Credit card’.
- Click on ‘Other services and queries’ located on the left side of the screen.
- Click on ‘Report lost/stolen card’.

Citibank Credit Card Customer Care Grievance Redressal
Level 1: The Bank's Regular Access Channels

Level 5: Reserve Bank of India – Banking Ombudsman Scheme
If there is no response from Citibank for one month, you can contact the Ombudsman. The Banking Ombudsman has been appointed by the RBI to make sure that there is satisfactory settlement of complaints.
