i dont think you'd need a trans brake. you would most likely want a converter, otherwise you'll only be able to set the 2step rev to whatever your stock stall could handle. after i get a stall i plan on getting a 2step just for consistency and bad ass effect.

it depends if the stall actually stalls that high. you may have to set it at 3700 or something.

yes you can make it work but i dont see how you would activate the two step except with the brake lights when you push on the brake pedal...hmmm try it and see what happens...

Casper has one hooked up to his brake light switch with another inline toggle to shut it off during the burnout and then after the burnout, he flips the toggle so the 2 step is active when he hits the brake at the beams

Mine is set on the brake pedal switch too. And for clarification, most converters are rated for their stall speed while on the trans-brake. When using the footbrake, the converter will overpower the tires a bit lower than whatever your true stall speed is. Mine for example stalls up around 4500rpm, but on stock street tires the footbrake will only hold the converter at about 3100rpm before it starts spinning the tires. It will hold a bit higher than that on my track tires.

BTW, you have to run the MSD Launch Box or some sort of separate 2-step for an automatic car......the one that can be set in the tune will not work without modification to the PCM's harness.

couldn't have said it better myself

the msd unit wouln't work under 2k though, so you'll need a converter.

awesome guys thanks a lot you answered all my questions and then some haha

Can I use two legs to drive automatic car?

Never Use Two Feet When Driving An Automatic Car Using both feet to drive an automatic car can lead to a crash if you happen to press both pedals simultaneously. It can also stress out the transmission fluid, torque converter, and brake fluid of the car.

Do automatics have two pedals?

The fact that a lever or selector takes the place of a gearstick in an automatic means that there are only 2 pedals: the accelerator and the brake. No clutch pedal to be found here. Be careful not to instinctively press down on the brake pedal the way you would the clutch pedal in a manual!
