Sometimes when I go to hotels or restaurants like Panera or Starbucks I can’t connect some of my Nintendo Switch to the WiFi because the device will not load the accept our settings page. I am looking for a way to host a hotspot off another WiFi network without having to use data because I only get 2 GB a month of data.

MyWi was a great tweak for this but sadly it is not updated.

Honestly, I'm kind of stuck in a loop because of MyWi. Not sure what happened, but once I jailbroke, I already had it in my remove queue. Since there's no file there, it won't let me install anything else in Cydia. Any other MyWi users having this issue?

I don’t believe this is strictly true. It depends on the hardware though.

That's exactly what [[Tetherme]] does, yep.

Not true. My S9 doesn't have 2 antennas but offers this in the hotspot settings.

Use Linux and spoof the Mac to match your switch and log into the WiFi. Log off and disable Mac spoofing and then connect with the switch.

Not sure if you can change the MAC address on a Nintendo but when I stay in hotels and use my Xbox one, all I do is change the MAC address on my Xbox to be the same as my iPhone. Connect to WiFi on your phone and accept the terms, once you’re connected on the phone, your Nintendo should connect without having to accept the terms. No tweak needed if you can do this.

Does tether me works on ios 11.3.1?
level 1
I would use TetherMe on my iPhone to connect to Wi-Fi then my Mac (Computer) to act as the Access Point for other devices. That’s the only way I know that’s reasonable. Although you could try sending a connection over Bluetooth.

[[pdanet]] does this. Does not work on ios 11. I think it is because the app is 32 bit.

Yes, this question gets asked about once or twice a week, OP could have done a quick search lmao
level 1
True but in IPhones it has Not the right hardware
level 2
Incorrect, there are at least two tweaks that offer this functionality, anything with dual-band wifi can do this. Hell, my iPhone 5S could do this.

Why the downvotes? This sub is incredible
The JEFA Tech WiFi Repeater will repeat an iPhone (or iPad) Personal Hotspot. We have tested and confirmed this works. However, there are some special considerations and a specific procedure for reliable results:
You must configure the repeater using a device other than the iPhone. Since the iPhone is using its WiFi as part of the hotspot function, you can’t connect it to the repeater’s WiFi signal when the hotspot is enabled. That will disable the hotspot.
Connecting to the
iPhone hotspot requires that the following procedure be followed exactly in order:
1. To configure the repeater, connect a device (other than your iPhone) to the repeater’s WiFi signal
2. Open the repeater control panel at //192.168.123.1 and login
3. On the iPhone, go into Settings and enable the hotspot. If it is already enabled, disable it and enable it again.
4.
On the repeater control panel, click on “Scan and Choose a WiFi Network to Repeat”
5. Select the iPhone hotspot signal
6. Enter the hotspot password. This is indicated on the hotspot configuration screen on the iPhone
7. Click Connect and follow the remaining prompts
In our internal testing, it sometimes takes more than one try to get a successful connection, so if it doesn’t work the first time, try the procedure again.
