I see the old thread on this aged away. Anyway, I opened the hood and pulled two clips to loosen the sound deadening sheath on the underside of the hood so I could reach in. I used needle nose plies to squeeze the clip tabs and avoid breaking them. I got hold of the tube and nozzle, removed the nozzle and by pushing the tube with one hand until it was visible in the nozzle hole in the hood, grasped with the pliers and pulled it through. Attached the hose to the new nozzle and snapped it into place. i will order
a couple of spare nozzles for $9 CDN, free shipping, from this eBay dealer in Thailand. I know it will take a month to receive them.
i lost the inside part of a nozzle, bought a new one at Toyota for $35 and installed it today.
i saw a post on another site where a guy replaced his without opening the hood. I tried it, crushing the broken nozzle with pliers but it fell inside the hood on me. Wish I had used a piece of wire with a hook to
hold it.
