Here we have for sale today is a nice original 1985 Chevrolet suburban 1500 Silverado edition. This is a 95% original truck with no major rust, never smoked in and always well cared for. This was never a work truck and always a family hauler. there have been a few touch ups on the paint only no body work. frame rockers and floors are in great shape fenders and rear hatch have some small rust in the bottom. floors inside the back under the original carpet are immaculate including around the wheel wells were they normally let go and by the back corners. around the windows is also in great shape. the interior is in very nice shape with no major damage. the dash has a few cracks but is no weres near as bad as most. the truck runs drives and stops fantastic. there are no bumps clunks or rattles in this old girl. It has a new cat back exhaust system and runs quiet as a church mouse down the road. the power windows and locks work great as well as the power rear window for the tail gate. the tires are about half tread and in good shape. It has a class 3 trailer hitch and an older brake controller under the dash. the original radio is a little finiky and could use a looking at, the a/c needs a charge, and other than that it really is a great truck to drive. its been a north eastern truck all its life so there is some mild corrosion under the truck but I mean mild and any of it is an easy fix. this is a great ruck with tons and tons of miles left to it. it starts first time every time with out a hiccup. jump in and drive it anywhere. she is ready to rock. this is a 30 year old truck so please expect some age to be seen.

A careful and complete appreciation of the following information is critically important for a full and accurate assessment of this vehicle. Up for sale is a very clean and nicely detailed and original 1985 Chevy K10 Silverado. A short bed 4x4 with 109,000 original miles. It also comes factory equipped with a G80 Locking Differential and, of course, a towing package. It is loaded with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, A/C, factory analog clock, auxiliary fuel tank, locking hubs, and factory chrome bumper guards (see new equipment detail below). Note: Catalytic Convertors were removed by a previous owner and not replaced. Passed Texas safety inspection but cats (I think) are required in possibly every state. It was fortunate that a check for these was not made during the Texas safety inspection. Replacing them was on my "to do" list but things changed. I think parts and labor are around $200 - $300 out the door. The body of the truck is extremely straight (see pictures) only having minor dents in various locations and is absolutely rust-free. The truck was painted several years ago in the original Midnight Blue color and still shines brightly but as shown in the pictures, has some common, yet minor chipping on the lower doors and rockers as well as the hood. The truck is lifted 4 inches and sits on 15x10 American Racing wheels (perfect shape – see pictures) with 33x12.50x15 BF-Goodrich Mud Terrains. The truck is also equipped with a quick-disconnect front sway bar for off-roading and a frame cross member brace to prevent frame sag which many lifted trucks of this body style incur. By the way, the height of the truck is about 6’6” which fits easily in a 7’ garage! The interior is in very good shape and it really shows (again, see pictures). All the lights work inside and out as do all the controls, etc. In fact, over $3,000 was spent by the previous owner from whom I purchased this truck less than two months back! All of the items listed below per previous owner were added within the last 3,000 miles. As can be discerned, the previous owner invested heavily in both restoration and mechanical parts including, but not being limited to: · New front rotors, calipers, pads, · wheel bearings and seals, · rear wheel cylinders, · rear brake shoes, · front and rear drivelines, · rear pinion shaft seal, radiator, · hoses, water pump, · Edelbrock carburetor · A brand new dash installed along with brand new chrome body side moldings, · A brand new windshield, · A top of the line LINE-X bed-liner. · The original 700R4 overdrive transmission is mated to a relatively new and quite healthy 350 Chevy with 4 bolt mains. 350 CI engine verified 100% even though build sheet shows a 305 CI engine. · The previous owner stipulated that the oil was changed every 3,000 miles with Synthetic Amsoil 10/30. Since I have owned the truck, I too, have made substantive improvements to this classic vehicle. The following, systems, parts and/or processes have been performed on the truck within the last 300 miles – and all things performed or replaced were professionally installed and only factory equivalent (or better and new – not re-built) parts were used. There are verifiable invoices available showing work performed per all of the following!! Power Steering System Completely Restored to New · Power Steering Pump Replaced · Power Steering Pressure Hose Replaced · Power Steering Return Hose Replaced Entire A/C System replaced and Converted from R12 to R134A · A/C Caps/Valve Core Conversion Kit New · A/C Compressor with Clutch New · Accumulator/Receiver Drier New · Orifice Tube New · Condensor New · Adapter New · Manifold Hose New · Evacuate and Recharge A/C System Ignition Improvements and Other · Distributor Cap Replaced · Rotor, Ignition Module & Coil Replaced · Spark Plugs Replaced · Timing Chain Slack checked (no more than 2 degrees off – which is exceptional) Miscellaneous Improvements • Windshield Wiper Motor Replaced • Preheat Tube in Exhaust Manifold Added · Safety Flasher Replaced • Bull Ring Stake Pocket Tie-downs (see picture 2 right below “bowtie” on bedrail) Per all repairs and improvements above, all new Belts and Hoses were, of course, installed As anyone can tell from what has been done to improve and/or restore the real “guts” of this exceptional truck, it has to qualify as one of the cleanest, most roadworthy trucks of the “classic” era one can find today. Last but not least, included in the sale is the original Quadrajet carburetor and a full set of original 15x8 Chevrolet rally wheels – all included free of charge. As easily determined given the exhaustive list of improvements noted above, the “heavy lifting” on this truck is 99% complete. All that is left is relatively cosmetic and/or minor in scope. I know I will be asked – why are you selling it, especially after buying such a nice truck and then adding even more refinements/improvements? – The simple and honest answer is that this truck was purchased for my son who is now headed in a completely different direction and this vehicle will not fit his needs. He is heartbroken but understands that the timing for some things does not fit the situation. And, I cannot afford to just keep the truck around for the “right time” or as a “toy” of sorts. If any questions remain, call 432-294-1769 at a reasonable time - CDT.

I am 15 minutes from the Nashville Airport and will pick you up in the truck.call my cell 909-510-1167, DESCRIPTION: A California 1975 / 1985 K20 Silverado 3/4 ton 4x4 truck - Completely Rebuilt. I have clocked 18,000 miles on the build. Equipped with a High Performance Vortec HO 350 Crate Motor from GM Performance Parts Catalog that is fully tuned by a performance shop, truck has a custom built firm shifting Heavy Duty 400 Transmission, a Twin Stick 205 transfer case, matched axle gearing and tire size (4:88 gears and 39.5 tall tires), "mandrel bent" 3 inch exhaust with Stainless Steel long tube headers (all new this summer), custom built Heavy Duty leaf springs, beefed up axles, hard hitting Kicker 12" sub woofers and eclipse stereo system with IPOD control, complete brand new ice cold air conditioning system (new this summer), Brand New PPG Paint Job in (July this 2015), with all new glass and seals (2015). The truck has a properly working front drive shaft. The truck is well sorted out mechanically and works really good without breaking any parts. The truck is ready to drive anywhere, any distance, right now. If it was a crew cab, I would not sell. Please check my feedback score for the sale of my Supercharged Cobra Mustang. The buyer is very happy with his new car and you will be very happy with this truck. Add it up: over $30,000 in parts to complete, (and countless hours fabricating): 350ci ENGINE: Has a NEW crate engine DIRECTLY from GM Performance Parts Catalog: HO 350, $3200 alone.off road truck avenger carb by Holley $500 - with manual choke kit $100Phenolic heat isolating carb spacer and long studs $50Holley High Volume fuel pump and fuel lines, large filter with AN fittings and heat shield tubing $300MSD ignition Cap and MSD Coil and MSD rotor with MSD 6al BOX and MSD wires and MSD looms $450Accel distributor $150K&N 6 inch tall air filter and K&N oil breathers $150Vortec Full Roller Rockers $250Edelbrock Vortec Rerformer RPM aluminum intake with GM Vortec gaskets $350ALL NEW air conditioning, Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Accumulator, o rings, $700New AC Delco Heavy Duty fan clutch $140NEW Full Size radiator $120new 200 amp alternator $250BRAND NEW August 2015, Stainless Steel OBX Long Tube Headers 3 inch Mandrel Bent Tubing and Magnaflow mufflers and 3 flexible joints $900.Carb jetting, and distributor curving, full tune at performance shop $350425 Horse Power from GM, not some unknown machine shop!400 TRANSMISSION:Built Turbo 400 trans from GM, modified by The Toy Shop Transmission in Pomona, Ca. $1500 with new converter, custom valve body and shift points, will shift into first gear at any RPM for racing or mudding. Shifts very firm, but not too hard to break, this meant that we had the valve body in and out of the transmission 5 or 6 times to get the firmness adjusted just right (quite an effort). Has heavy duty trans cooler $100. Also has B&M ratchet shifter $350 with reverse lock out. Has Extra Large Capacity, Deep Trans Cover ($200) with Stainless Steel Allen Fasteners, Brand new filter and oil and fiber type gasket all serviced this November 2015.205 TRANSFER CASE - Twin Stick:NP 205 transfer case with all new bearings by Tri County Gear in Pomona, Ca. $800 rebuild with shift rod modification for twin stick operation. The NP 205 hardly ever needs a rebuild, they are gear driven and VERY strong units. But, you can't have a twin stick ability with out taking it apart to modify the shift rods. So new bearings were installed while it was disassembled for the TWIN STICK modification. This NP 205 has twin shifters to engage front or rear low transfer case individually or together $400. That means it can be front wheel drive. Or rear wheel drive in low transfer case, without spinning the front drive shaft while in low. I have 10-12 hours making the shift forks on the shifters to engage and disengage smoothly. Plus it has a brand new GM Speedometer cable ($40).DRIVE SHAFTS:J.E. Reel in Pomona, Ca built the rear drive shaft with a NEW rear 1350 CV joint $450 and drive shaft tube with stock rear yoke and new u joints balanced $300. And all u joints on truck are new. The front drive shaft is also balanced with new u-joints in the CV Joint $300. Front CV Joint has been clearance all around the yokes so the yokes won't touch each other during harsh articulation angles. The front drive shaft angle is extreme, and every trick has been done to ensure its proper operation. You'll be hard pressed to find another truck this BIG that has a front drive shaft connected, and works, and works correctly...REAR AXLE:Has 14 bolt semi float rear end with 30 spline axles, 9.5 inch ring gear, 4:88 gears $250 and a EATON Clutch Type Posi Carrier (it Does NOT have a stock eaton g80 - those always break) Posi cost $900 alone plus bearings etc.FRONT AXLE & STEERING:Has a sweet aluminum diff cover ($200) plus Stainless Steel Allen bolts ($25). Front axle has 4:88 gears $170 and is an open carrier, no posi, dana 44 with an Off Road Unlimited cross over steering set up that cost over $1000 with new 2wd steering gear box needed for the conversion. I could have used a Dana 60, it would have been cheaper than the OFU cross over steering kit, but I wanted the bullet proof, forged, 1 piece, steering knuckle that is only made for the 44. Plus, I have broken several dana 60 steering components in the past... Not to mention, the dana 60 has studs in the casting for the passenger side leaf spring pad threaded into the differential case that can (and have in the past) that can pull out! ...the dana 44 has U bolts that are stronger. And you can always look to see that dana 44 u bolts are tight vs. the dana 60 studs could be pulling out and you wouldn't know by looking. That's why I run a dana 44 and not a dana 60. Dana 60's can leave you stranded in the mountains with no steering, it has done that to me 3 times in the past, all steering related problems. You'll never break the Forged ONE PIECE steering arm from Off Road Unlimited. One last point, the dana 44 axle that you might break is very cheap, $30 to replace if you break the stub axle vs. a dana 60 stub axle is $200. It's a cheap weak link to break. Has Warn Premium manual locking hubs $100. Front axle steering knuckles were cut off and re-welded on with a proper pinion angle, using a special jig to keep it all straight while welding, to let the front drive shaft work without breaking, and that cost $1500 to have done and all new bearings and brakes were installed at that time costing even more in parts. 18" LIFT TOTAL: 12 inches of custom bent leaf spring in front, 3 inch rectangular tubing welded between frame and front springs for tow hitch receiver (for tow straps)3 inch body lift - Makes easy access to header bolts, spark plugs etc. and more tire clearanceTires are 39.5 tall. Would fit 44s no problem or even bigger LEAF SPRINGS: Altlas custom leaf springs Front and Rear were bent for the truck and the front springs have a military wrap on them to keep the front from twisting and breaking the front drive shaft, that cost extra and the military wrap works well at eliminating axle wrap in the front. $700 Rear springs have a shackle reversal and NO lift blocks (lift blocks are junk and break). The Front springs are connected to a 4 x 6 rectangular tube with a receiver hitch for pulling out of mud. Works well and gives you the ability to hook to a truck in front and pull out a truck behind you like a train. BRAKE LINES: Custom Built, Extra Long, Stainless Steel Braided brake lines front and back $200. Plus new Brake Master Cylinder $48, Brake bias valve block $75 and rear proportional valve with adjustable hand knob from Wilwood brakes $42 for the back brakes adjustability, new hard lines $35 etc. ROLL CAGE:There is a custom bent roll cage in the cab built with 4130 chromoly tubing that cost $400 for the material alone! I spent lots of time bending the tubes just right to install it right up against the roof and rear cab.CHASSIS & CAB: A 1985 Rust Free California frame and chassis complete with clean title was matted to a 1975 cab with a clean title making one rust free 1975 registered truck. The truck has two clean titles that go with the sale to document the 100% ownership . Everything mechanical on this truck is 1985 except the front grill, lights, transfer case, drive-shafts, steering, leaf-springs, shocks and the Vortec crate engine. All of the Brand New Air Conditioning is 1985. CAB RE-BUILD: Started with a rust free 1975 cab with clean title. Dyno mat sound deadening material was installed all over the bare cab when it was stripped bare and had nothing in the cab $300.The upholstery was all new in 2008 $800. The front windshield and rear sliding glass and seals are brand new $700 installed this July 2015 when the truck was painted. The doors are completely rebuilt and have new seals, new rubber, new window motors and tracks and new door locks actuators and new switches and new everything like hinges and hinge springs and bushings etc. when I painted it this year. parts are $600 PAINT: New PPG paint in 2015, The truck was at the paint shop for 7 months and was completely taken apart including the doors and the bed was removed from the frame, including all new glass, seals, front grill, bumper, lights, horns, fasteners etc. $3500 39" TIRES & WHEELS:The tires are new Super Swampers with 2000 miles on them, they were "trued" which means I had Taffa, a Big Rig Shop in Nashville, I had Taffa's technicians make the tires round. So they put them on a machine that removes the high spot until the tires are round and drive smooth, this cost $400 to have the tires trued and balanced. Tires were $2150 delivered, the wheels are Micky Thompson 16.5 x 12 and cost $800. That is $3350 for wheels and tires trued and balanced for the street. All BIG mud tires are NOT round when new, and they will bounce going down the road making you sick from vibration. These are smooth as silk, at the cost of precious rubber removed in the process and at the cost of several hundred dollars in expense to have it done. The truck goes down the freeway VERY NICE! The tires are just the right size for this trucks power and gearing.SHOCKS:All shocks are 2 years old and are Rancho RS 5012 (rs5000 series), all 10 of them. $6005012 are 5000 shocks but longer than stock for the lift.STEREO SYSTEM:The stereo is an Eclipse with IPOD control, has two 12 inch Kicker sub-woofers. 1200 watts of power in a custom install with all the sound deadening material in the cab and it sounds absolutely wonderful, loud, clear, crisp and hard hitting. Imaging is great with custom front speaker placement and Kenwood speakers with cross overs using capacitors (old school). Subs are electronically crossed over at the amp. System runs a Deep Cell Battery and 200 amp alternator. cost well over $1500 for parts alone. Other items like supplies. If you just added all of this list up, you will not see: Nuts and bolts, welding wire and welding gas, grinding disks and sand paper, metal and other materials, primers and paints, cost of the several different cores that were rebuilt like the 205 transfer case or front axle housing, replacement gas tanks, rear tow package, shift linkage, and this list would just keep going if I sat here remembering the build, ...it was a fun build. The $500 deposit is NON refundable. All known imperfections: The paint and upholstery are not "perfect". The drivers door jam has been primed due to poor prep work and needs to be painted again. The speedometer is not calibrated. The Cruise Control was removed, there is no dome light, inside of bed was not painted (intended to rhino line), the windshield washer fluid is not working and the wipers will stay on (some times), so I put in a toggle switch to turn it off. The truck has a 1975 Cab with clean title and 1985 frame (chassis) with clean title. Registered as 1975 truck on purpose to be exempt from emissions testing in California. 909-510-1167 call with questions. THANKS FOR LOOKING 909-510-1167 cell

Here is one of the popular Short Bed Silverados with the short bed option. Clean Chevy trucks are possibly the best option in a used truck due to mechanical longevity and high resale value. Miles are low and correct. Adult owned and treated with care. Carport kept most of life and it would take some effort to find an original like this one.MECHANICALEngine rebuilt this year by City Motor Machine in Dallas. 1000 miles just broke in.Engine starts like it should and idles great. Performance is impressive and the truck is in excellent working order. Dual exhaust with glass packs.Transmission shifts and operates well. Just checked out and serviced by Hardy's Hydramatic in Fort Worth. AC is still operational. Heater core needs to be repaired or replaced and currently bypassed.Drives and stops straight. Front suspension is tight. BODYOriginal Copper metallic body and paint in good condition. Only has minor dings and one minor dent in front of left rear tire. Paint ha some weathered edges but give truck character. Bumpers are good. Bed and tailgate are very good. Windshield has cracks but not on drivers side. Just passed state inspection. Take time to view the 24 pictures.Rustfree Southern body. Spent life in Arkansas and North Texas.INTERIORThe interior is in above average condition for its age. Dash has cracks and could use one of those overlays they sell on ebay. Seat bottom is original and in good condition. Seat back could use a fabric repair. No pet or smoke odors. WHEELS /TIRESFactory rally wheels. Good tread highway tires. This Silverado will not disappoint. + Call or text if you need more info: .............. nine72.890.132eight+ Buyer can be picked up at airport (DFW or Dallas Love Field) or bus station but please give notice.

If you just added all of this list up, you will not see: Nuts and bolts, welding wire and welding gas, grinding disks and sand paper, metal and other materials, primers and paints, cost of the several different cores that were rebuilt like the 205 transfer case or front axle housing, replacement gas tanks, rear tow package, shift linkage, and this list would just keep going if I sat here remembering the build, ...it was a fun build. cell 909-510-1167 - I need a crew cab. Will trade for 3/4 ton or 1 ton CREW CAB 4x4 - Ford, Chevy, Dodge, gas or diesel. Trade mine with cash or you trade me yours with cash to make it an equal trade. THE TRUCK - SHORT DESCRIPTION:1975 / 1985 Chevy K20 Silverado, Heavy Duty 3/4 ton 4x4 truck - Completely Rebuilt California emissions testing exempt. Equipped with a High Performance HO 350 Crate Motor that is fully tuned by a performance shop, truck has a custom built firm shifting Heavy Duty 400 Transmission, a Twin Stick 205 transfer case, matched axle gearing and tire size (4:88 gears and 39.5 tall tires), sweet sounding mandrel bent 3 inch exhaust with Stainless Steel long tube headers, custom built Heavy Duty leaf springs, beefed up axles, hard hitting Kicker 12" sub woofers and eclipse stereo system, complete brand new ice cold air conditioning system, Brand New Paint Job PPG paint July this year, with all new glass and seals. This K20 always stands slightly taller than 99% of ALL other trucks on the road. The K20 has a properly working front drive shaft due to a $1500 axle modification that re-aligns the pinion angle upward by cutting off the steering knuckles and then re-positioning the differential upward and re-welding the steering knuckles back, all done in a special jig that keeps it all straight and proper. The list of modifications is long, but the bottom line is that this truck is well sorted out mechanically and works really good without breaking any parts. If it was a crew cab, I would keep it. The truck is ready to drive anywhere, any distance, right now. MILES: Has about 18,000 miles on the initial build finished in 2008: NEW GM HO-350 crate motor fully tuned, custom modified NEW T400 transmission from GM, custom built twin stick 205 transfer case, NEW custom drive-shafts with NEW u-joints and NEW 1350 CV joint, NEW custom cross over steering set up and complete axle builds with NEW bearings and NEW brakes (NEW pads and NEW calipers and NEW master cylinder and NEW brake lines and NEW bias valve and NEW proportioning valve etc.). The cab odometer says 64,000 and I assume that it is 164,000, only rolled over ounce. The exhaust, tires, shocks, glass, seals, paint, air conditioning etc are all new this year. There are over 400 shop hours of labor and $30,000 spent on parts and supplies for this build. PARTS - LIST - AND - DETAILED - DESCRIPTION: ENGINE:Has a NEW crate engine DIRECTLY from GM Performance Parts Catalog: HO 350, $3200 alone.off road truck avenger carb by Holley $500Phenolic spacer and long studs $50Holley High Volume fuel pump and fuel lines, large filter with AN fittings $250MSD ignition Cap and MSD Coil and MSD rotor with MSD 6al BOX and MSD wires and MSD looms $450Accel distributor $150K&N 6 inch tall air filter and K&N oil breathers $150Crane Vortec 1.6 roller rockers $250Edelbrock Vortec Rerformer RPM aluminum intake with GM vortec gaskets $350ALL NEW air conditioning, Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Accumulator, o rings, $700New AC Delco Heavy Duty fan clutch $140NEW Full Size radiator $120new 200 amp alternator $250BRAND NEW Stainless Steel OBX Long Tube Headers 3 inch Mandrel Bent Tubing and Magnaflow mufflers and 3 flexible joints $900 Built this year August 2015.Carb jetting, and distributor curving, full tune at performance shop $350425 Horse Power from GM, not some unknown machine shop!TRANSMISSION:NEW Turbo 400 trans from GM, modified by The Toy Shop Transmission in Pomona, Ca. Also has B&M ratchet shifter $350 with reverse lock out.TRANSFER CASE - Twin Stick:NP 205 transfer case with all new bearings by Tri County Gear in Pomona, Ca. $800 rebuild with shift rod modification for twin stick operation. The NP 205 hardly ever needs a rebuild, they are gear driven and VERY stout units. Or rear wheel drive in low transfer case, which is how I do MOST of my mudding until I get stuck and engage the front axle to get out. It's a good practice and gives you a chance to get out on your own. And this truck flings more mud in 2 wheel drive than most trucks that use 4 wheel drive! No Joke. Hardly ever have I been stuck in this truck. But I have been stuck needing help.DRIVE SHAFTS:J.E. You'll be hard pressed to find another truck this BIG that has a front drive shaft connected, and works, and works correctly...REAR AXLE:Has 14 bolt semi float rear end with 30 spline axles, 9.5 inch ring gear, 4:88 gears $250 and a EATON Clutch Type Posi Carrier (it Does NOT have a stock eaton g80 - those always break) Posi cost $900 alone plus bearings etc.FRONT AXLE & STEERING:Front axle has 4:88 gears $170 and is an open carrier, no posi, dana 44 with an Off Road Unlimited cross over steering set up that cost over $1000 with new 2wd steering gear box needed for the conversion. I could have used a Dana 60, it would have been cheaper than the steering kit, but I wanted the bullet proof, forged, 1 piece, steering knuckle that is only made for the 44. Plus, I left the differential open and have never broken an axle after lots of mudding. But, I have broken several steering components on dana 60's axle housings in the past... Has Warn Premium manual locking hubs $100.Front axle steering knuckles were cut off and re-welded on with a proper pinion angle, using a special jig to keep it all straight while welding, to let the front drive shaft work without breaking, and that cost $1500 to have done and all new bearings and brakes were installed at that time costing even more in parts. 18" LIFT TOTAL: 12 inches of custom bent leaf spring in front3 inch rectangular tubing welded between frame and front springs for tow hitch receiver (for tow straps)3 inch body lift - Makes easy access to header bolts, spark plugs etc. and more tire clearanceTires are 39.5 tall. I used to go off roading with it behind my house on 200 acres of vacant wetland, but Nashville made a park out of the land and it is now off limits. So I retired the truck from 4x4 duty and painted it this year. No more scratching it. Up for auction is what I believe to be the finest 1985 Chevy Silverado in America. I have never seen another Chevy pickup1982-1987 body style anywhere on the internet that is as clean, new, and well running as this one. This truck is truly amazing. It was originally a GMC but I had it trimmed out as a Chevy Silverado in the restoration process. The difference is merely 4 outside Chevy decals, a hood ornament and steering wheel cover. This truck truly has character and there isn't anything like it on the road. A true head turner, You will get thumbs up and "nice truck" comments on every single outing. I had this truck professionally restored by Swift Brothers Classic Trucks out of Mt. Airy, NC. This truck was rebuilt to be driven and it is as dependable as you could possibly imagine. The odometer reads 9,311 but it was restored with a reading of 5,500 so the brand new Holly carbureted GM 350 actually has about 3,800 miles on it. Every single thing you can think of has either been restored or replaced on this truck. It has never been in the mud and has been garage kept since it was restored. It still maintains that old familiar Chevy pickup smell on the inside too! A/C is brand new and blows ice cold. This truck never over heats. It has a a beautiful and classy rumble due to the Flowmaster true dual exhaust. The only thing that is not functioning properly is the cruise control. It has truly been cared for. I am listing below everything that has been replaced/restored but please feel free to email me with questions. Having said that, I am not a gear head, hence the reason I left the restoration to the professionals. The GM 350 crate motor has a 100,000 mile warranty but other than that, there are no other warranties write or implied. The truck is being sold as is. I also have it listed locally and may end the auction early. CONTACT PHONE NUMBER:909-510-1167 THE TRUCK:1975 Chevy K20, Heavy Duty 3/4 ton 4x4 truck - Completely Rebuilt PRICE: for sale $23,000 or best offer or trade for stock crew cab 4x4 of equal value on blue book or would pay cash difference for something worth more if I want it. Or you trade me yours and pay me the difference. Thanks.MONEY SPENT:I have spent over $30,000 on parts and supplies for this build, That is separate from the cost of the complete rust free truck I started with. And I have countless hours fabricating the truck for 2 years on jack stands.LIFT:About 17 inch liftTires are 39.5 tall.NEW PAINT:New PPG paint JULY 2015 with new windshield and seal, new rear sliding window and seal, new front grill, new lights, new bumper, new mirrors, new power window motors, new door lock actuators, new buttons, door door seals, new door felts, new wind wing seals, holes filled, drip rails removed and so much more. The front end comes from a 1985.MILES:Has about 18,000 miles on the entire build: new crate motor, custom built trans, rebuilt transfer case, new custom drive-shafts, custom cross over steering set up and complete axle builds and brakes. The paint was just applied this month with all new glass, rubber seals, window motors etc.. The cab odometer says 64,000 and I assume that it is 164,000, only rolled over ounce. This truck was sitting for many many years. I have had it for 10 years. PARTS LIST AND DETAILED DESCRIPTION: ENGINE:Has a NEW crate engine DIRECTLY from GM Performance Parts Catalog: HO 350, $3400 alone.off road truck avenger carb by Holley $500Phenolic spacer and long studs $50Holley High Volume fuel pump and fuel lines, large filter with AN fittings $250MSD ignition Cap and MSD Coil and MSD rotor with MSD 6al BOX and MSD wires and MSD looms $450Accel distributor $150K&N 6 inch tall air filter and K&N oil breathers $150Crane Vortec 1.6 roller rockers $250Edelbrock Vortec Rerformer RPM aluminum intake with GM vortec gaskets $350ALL NEW air conditioning, Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Accumulator, o rings, $700New AC Delco Heavy Duty fan clutch $140NEW Full Size radiator $120new 200 amp alternator $250Stainless Steel OBX Long Tube Headers 3 inch Mandrel Bent Tubing and Magnaflow mufflers $900Carb jetting, and distributor curving, full tune at performance shop $350425 Horse Power from GM, not some unknown machine shop!TRANSMISSION:Custom Built, high performance, Turbo 400 trans by The Toy Shop Transmission in Pomona, Ca. $1500 with new converter, custom valve body and shift points, will shift into first at any RPM for racing or mudding. Shifts very firm, but not too hard to break, this meant that we had the valve body in and out of the transmission 5 or 6 times to get the firmness adjusted just right (quite an effort). Has heavy duty trans cooler $100. It's a cheap weak link to break.Front axle steering knuckles were cut of and re-welded on with a proper pinion angle, using a special jig to keep it all straight while welding, to let the front drive shaft work without breaking, and that cost $1500 to have done and all new bearings and brakes were installed at that time costing even more in parts.BRAKE LINES:Custom Built, Extra Long, Stainless Steel Braided brake lines front and back $200. Plus new Brake Master Cylinder $48, Brake bias valve block $75 and rear proportional valve with adjustable hand knob from Wilwood brakes $42 for the back brakes adjustability, new hard lines $35 etc.LEAF SPRINGS:Altlas custom leaf springs Front and Rear were bent for the truck and the front springs have a military wrap on them to keep the front from twisting and breaking the front drive shaft, that cost extra and the military wrap works well at eliminating axle wrap in the front. $700Rear springs have a shackle reversal and NO lift blocks (lift blocks are junk and break). The Front springs are connected to a 4 x 6 rectangular tube with a receiver hitch for pulling out of mud. Works well and gives you the ability to hook to a truck in front and pull out a truck behind you like a train.ROLL CAGE:There is a custom bent roll cage in the cab built with 4130 chromoly tubing that cost $400 for the material alone! I spent lots of time bending the tubes just right to install it right up against the roof and rear cab.CAB RE-BUILD:The cab has dyno mat sound deadening material glued all over the bare cab when it was stripped bare and had nothing in the cab.The upholstery was all new 6 years ago,The front and rear glass and seal are brand new $700The doors are completely rebuilt and have new seals, new rubber, new window motors and tracks and new door locks actuators and new switches and new everything like hinges and hinge springs and bushings etc. when I painted it this year. parts are $600The truck was at the paint shop for 7 months and was completely taken apart including the doors and the bed was removed from the frame for including all new glass, seals, front grill, bumper, lights etc. System runs a Deep Cell Battery and 200 amp alternator. cost well over $1500 for parts alone.THANKS FOR LOOKING
